No wonder California is broke.....Look at the shit we the taxpayers have to pay for.....Expensive, un needed toys the AAA with a badge officers use to troll around county roads looking for broke down cars to put warning stickers on.
Quite a cross-section of the current fleet this video: Ford Crown Victoria P71's, a Chevrolet C1500/C1P and a C2500/C1W, Dodge Chargers, Chevrolet Camaro B4C's (a Ford Mustang SSP would be a good replacement for the aging Camaros), and some mission-specific hardware. Nice work.
What a complete waste of tax dollars, ever wonder why it costs $300 to register your car in Calif? It's so overpaid meter maids/ AAA with a badge can drive the newest rides that they turn in every year so they can look cool while they're setting out flares and fixing a tire...what a joke!
@neckarsulme Dude ur a joke... u dnt know what they do... I know that because you have never been part of the CHP... my dad works for CHP and in just the past week there was a motorcycle pursuit, a man who crashed into a car trying to kill himself, a couple of kids who shot at a car with BB guns as part of road rage, just fucking look on youtube and see what they do...
@Dilpickle911 Hey clueless.......Everybody knows what goes on at CHP, why do you think they call them AAA with a badge? DMV on wheels? They are State Traffic Officers, look on their job bulletin sometime. They troll the roads looking for speeders and fender benders to look after. They wouldn't make it as a city cop or a sheriff's deputy. they also like to drive around on country roads sticking warning papers on broke down cars Most common on the job injury? Hemmoroids from the booth at Denny's
@neckarsulme hey fucking clueless? My dad is CHP and was a city cop for 20 years! He retired to earn a retirement and a salary and FYI... in Oakland, CA just yesterday a man angered at the CHP for arresting his father on his 6th DUI charge put on a bullet resistant vest and purposly cut off a CHP officer at high speeds. Then he got out of the when the stopped his and opened fire on them... the officers returned fire shooting the suspect... a city of would have done the same thing...
@Dilpickle911 Hey clueless....If you're gonna lie about something at least get ur facts straight. CHP has an age cutoff of 35, so if ur dad did 20 years as a street cop starting at 21(Legal age LEO) he would've been 41 at start of application process. Your story doesn't add up, unless ur dad started as a street cop at 15 and retired @ 35. Reason being u never see 60 year old CHP officers Don't believe me? Check CHP website for age restrictions, but nice try ):
@neckarsulme@Dilpickle911 Actually you need to do some valid research. He began at Yolo County Sheriffs Department, and check with whom ever you want 30 years ago Sacramento police Dept., sac county sheriff, california state police, california highway patrol, and yolo county sheriff's office all used the current CHP academy... He was Yolo County Sheriffs department for 10 years and transfered to Cali state police on the ROAD not CHP... then when CHP and CSP merged he joined CHP... (nice try)
@neckarsulme o and hmmm... most common injury from "hemmoriods from a booth at Denny's" Well look at chp.ca.gov and look at the 4 officers who were killed in four seperate traffic related accidents... I know what ur gonna say "O just stopping cars" well one was in a pursuit, the second was hit by another driver while at a crash scene and read the other fucking to,.. u have no fucking idea wat u r talking about...
Great video. Boy... that incident SUV is something else. Never seen that vehicle in service. It's equipment to the "t". My favorite is the new recruitment vehicle - white charger with blue stripes and CHP in Gold. That is an awesome looking vehicle. I wish their road units would go to that new paint scheme. I assume the new units are going with the new LED light bars and getting away from the V-shape lights. SDSO switch, thank God.
