Yes, but I am a Democrat, not Republican. I know McCain is a tragedy in making, but Obama is a disaster. Hillary would come up with something, but Obama has no chance. McCain at least promises invasion of Iran, and long term stay in Iraq. Those two countries are floating on oil, and thats our way out. If Ahmadinajad doesn't drill and doesn't want to sell that oil to us, we go and take it.

Georgia that Russians invaded, is 90 miles away from Iran, and around 140 miles from Iraq. A lot of action in small area. I hear American fleet just got to Black Sea, around 70 miles from Iran. Russia is practically bordering with Iran. People they saved from Georgians, are ethnic Iranians with Russian citizenship. Georgians are Iranian group of people. So, I smell something here, and it doesn't smell good. It will all depend on who pays the Russians more, us or Iranians, to keep quiet.

In about 40 years, without discontinuing the use of oil as a fuel, there will be too much of a loss of the glaciers to even get them back. With Hydrogen fuel cells, solar energy, wind energy, lithium-ion batteries and quite a few people who work hard to better the planet, drilling for more oil is the most selfish and irrisponcible thing we can do

We need to develop more efficient cars- if detroit did that perhaps they could sell a few in their own country. Republican are owned by big oil and we all know it. The technology is dated and even with offshore drilling we will need the middle east which will always be unstable and creat problems for us. I agree that America should be self sufficient - it is very important however if we rely soley on oil we will never be totally self sufficient.

My hope:
McCain picks a real conservitive, Mitt Romney. We havent had a real conservitive in the white house since Reagan (Bush is a globolist liberal). Then McCain wins the election since he's white, but then goes senile...clearing the way for Romney to take over. Then we can get this nation stright again. It's the only real hope.
Cant believe how Obama diss'd Hillary. My God, that was horrible. If I was a Hillary supporter, I'd vote McCain and send a message to the party.

Its not just Obamas skin color, its much more. If we elect an African to run our country (which whites made and built), what message will that send other blacks? It will make them even more militant and more demanding, and the Chinese and Russians will laugh at us for allowing an African to be president. It will be embarrasing.
