I used to lift in the gym all the time and then I went to crossfit and I puked twice in the first week. If you try it and are serious about it you'll understand why so many people do it. His form on his kips were scewed and allowed him to go further but you usually do about 30 of them 3 times in a super set with 3-6 stations going for a set time period usually 8-15 mintues
