Polly Scattergood is amazing. When she says " and that hurts, I give up" I just feel like dying inside. You can't tell when she sings "it cant be real, no it cant be real, maybe if I close my eyes then I won't feel" she is trying so hard to believe it isn't happening and that is just sssooooo sad and so disturbing, I almost feel like crying.

I hope she gets more recognition, because she deserves it.

This is one of my favorite songs off the album. Total lyrics dissonance going here. Speaking about tragic things, to an upbeat melody. Speaking of the album, I actually went out and bought it, heh. I truly think someone as wonderful as her needs to be supported.

My favorite part of the song starts about 01:40. The, "and that hurts, I give up" part is just so desperate and you'd almost feel like saying, "screw it all!", too. :)

good song not so good with the video, but if you do get big you'll be able to get a professional director so do probs, part of it was the recording equipment you didn't have a £100k camera which generally helps when making a music vids also when making a music video it is necessary to edit the video heavily to get the right lighting etc
