@auvar100 Take the hight of the target approximately 1,7meters multiply this by 1000, divide 1700 by the amount of lines high that he stands in this case 5 and you get the result 340meters witch is the distance to him.
it's quite simple
z * 1000 ÷ y = X
z = the approximate size of the object in meters
y = the amount of lines the object is high or wide
X = the distance to your target in meters
of course you will need a pair of binoculars with this range finding reticle for it to work.
