  • I think he is picking and choosing what truth to believe in to suit his own ego.

  • @MrSiloporca no he is brutally honest with himself

  • @MrSiloporca

    I doubt it

  • @MrSiloporca

    I doubt it.

  • He says he had a lot of faith at one point that was deep and profound but he never says what he had faith in. Just curious.

  • @nujac321 if you watch the interview in its entirety, he states what things his faith was once placed in and what specific events defeated his faith.

  • Really? What did he say?

  • Hunter and the "brethran" under the mantel of authority, chose to hold the coats while this brother was stoned to death. Did Hunter drop to his knees and plead for guidance and for the soul of Paul Toscano. No, he dropped a dime instead. " When the brethran have spoken all the thinking has been done" says it all.

  • I meant "Boyd" Packer not Hunter.

  • I was highly critical of sunstone and Toscano in on another video, but I will praise him here. I primarily disliked the tone his earlier talk had. This interview was great because he seems very reasonable and like him, I don't think that people should be punished for believing and writing about their different beliefs. There are elements of false doctrine in many popular LDS-oriented media (films, music, etc.) do we excommunicate those people?

  • I think there is no question that excommunication of this guy was a mistake in my mind, it hurts more testimonies that he was excommunicated than his unorthodoxy

  • Right you are! Clearly his education is lacking and we all need to join you and your beliefs. Diversity is everything that's wrong with the world, if only we could all look, think, dress and worship the same -instead of embracing each other's differences and showing respect nonetheless- the world would be perfect.

  • Paul needs to come back. He's a great guy and I would love to see him take his understanding, live with it, and come back.
