i got all the Gorillaz albums on my MP3 player except Laika Come Home and The Fall and i've been listening to it non stop for hours! i only stopped cause my idiot mother said i needed to sleep. i tried to convince her that there can never be too much Gorillaz, but my own mom is a hater! :'(

@krazygyrl202 lol its a weird story how i got into Gorillaz x3 i used to listen to kidzbop (now i know it sucks) and Feel Good Inc was on kidzbop 9, and whenever i listened to it i was like "what kinda freak makes this stuff?" then i looked up what freak did make it, and presto! Gorillaz was born into my life! x)

@gorillazforever2000 6 years ago i heard feel good inc on the radio on my way home from the hospital. i sat in the car dancing because i liked the beat and my family looked at me like i was crazy. but i loved it!! and i was determined to find out who the song was by :)

@gorillazforever2000 EXACTLY. my friends and teachers give me wierd looks when i talk about them and when i wear my shirts to school. i remember being in my art class and clint eastwood started playing on the computer. everyone looked at me because i was the only person in the class singing :D i felt very proud! lol but then i overheard a conversation between some people beside me about how much they thought the song sucked :(

sometimes the intro is the best part. it gets you revved up for the rest of the album. That's what the problem was with the first album. It was unorganized and didn't seem to be related at all. Don't get me wrong I loved all the songs, but the album as a whole? The other two albums take you on a journey. For some reason this is my favorite album, because most of the songs have meanings. Very activist. very me.

@uskyler05 Well the first album wasn't conceptual like Demon Days & Plastic Beach, which why it lacked some sort of intro, I dont think it was intended to be more than just a collection of their music. If there was any song on that album that should've/could've been the intro it would be M1A1, though I thought Re-Hash set the tone for the album pretty well.

@MisterBankz you're right. actually on their phase 1 tour they used M1A1 as their starter. Demon Days (disaster)and Plastic Beach (pirate) both had themes. So does their new album "The Fall" (ambient). be warned, the new album is not for everyone. I found it... strange... for some reason it reminded me of the Black Eyed Peas "The End" album, where they just realized how messed up the world is. god i hate them for that. but gorillaz are different. they realized this a long time ago.

@MisterBankz i liked it too. its purpose was to be contemporary. i thought it was an album only for true Gorillaz fans, with vison. it seems in their years that's what they've been doing. eliminating the weak links, so not just anybody will listen to them. it makes me feel good im still a part of this group. sometimes i try to listen to their music like my sister does, guarded, closed, narrow-minded. i cant do it. Gorillaz' music crack my imagination wide open.
