Thanks! It's funny because I felt the same way about this song, when I was 13 and heard it for the first time it was one of my dream songs to eventually play on guitar! Trust me, it just takes practice I have no doubt you will be able to learn it with a liitle time.

Thanks, Rhandahl. The tuning is really easy, starting with Standard E you just drop the low E string to D and leave the other strings standard, that's it.

Hey, brother. Yeah it's possible on a mac you just have to use the right software. I have a PC and used Sony Vegas pro 8, I think mac is supported by Sony Vegas but you'll have to check. There of course are others that you can do this with though, you'll just have to check.

It's drop D, just drop the first string from E to D and all the others stay the same (IE standard) and your done :)

Good job man, both on the cover and the interesting video edit. What amp settings did you use though? I've been looking for that Opeth 'sound' for some time but to no avail, seems like you've gone the closest to matching it.

Thanks, brother. I am using a BOSS GT-6 processor with effects on the following settings: "R-FIER METAL" preset and I tweak it by setting "output select" to "JC-120". Preamp/speeker IE (EQ) is completely off and Overdrive/distortion is set on metal with drive at 90%.

For the amp I use a Marshall mini stack amp on "clean" with EQ settings as follows: Bass 100%, Contour 100%, Treble 0%. With FDD on. But you could get a similar sound on most amps with the GT-6 processor.

Great cover dude. Just one tiny tip: the chord in the intro riff where you play D#5 (111xxx), they play (well, live at least) x212xx. Try it like that, see how it sounds to you.

Thanks. I just pulled out the guitar and gave it a try, sounded kinda off to me, could be that they had a different tuning live and used that chord as a substitute. Or maybe my tuning is different who knows :P
