@firenearth78 I think the only thing religion is guilty of is exposing people to new possibilities and expanding their minds. What people do with such information is a different story. For you to say that idealism, religion or spirituality gave any order to do anything but think is ridiculous. Atheism holds no more merits to validity then any other belief set or system. They are all valid arguments, and it all just depends on you to find out what you want to take in and/or apply to your life.

@wanabyastick But that's just it, is Atheist views are based around denying all those possibilities. I personally find that to be close minded and it doesn't make sense to me. To argue that a god doesn't exist or something didn't happen is a valid argument if there isn't any proof of such, but to discredit entire ideals based on a lack of evidence is a bit ridiculous. People automatically assume I'm a Christian because I believe in god, however, I don't believe in historical biblical content.
