to the topic of peizos: yeah, they're quacky and weak sounding. when you've got a great singer/player like Mike here, the guitar sound isn't as much of an issue when he's got a bass player and harmonies, but in my experience (and humble opinion) a dual source like the Fishman Blender gives you the nice low end of a piezo combined with the punchy, expressive subtleties of a microphone and just kills it on a solo performance. if you gave Mike one of those he'd be unstoppable.

I can see the 'dislike' for the Piezo Pup sound (quack), as it's something that can drive acoustic players nuts who are out for that pure acoustic tone....Esp w/ all the pickup systems available today. However, all of that comes to end here w/ these guys. Incredible covers w/ superb playing & vocals to match. Given what they've got...it works extremely well

I kind of have to agree with remote, the guitar is has a bit much on the high end it definitely gives me a case of listeners fatigue. but there is also a very nice shimmery effect. idk maybe just tone down the dial around 7k or so...
