if yours is right they will suffer for eternity even if I do find out that christianity is right the chance of convincing them let alone the whole world that its right is close to zero, so I would not join the religion anyway, I will not abandon the people who have helped me, my family, friends and in general people who I believe don't deserve it. I counseled a young girl once who participated in murdering an elderly couple. She was high on drugs at the time. After this, in jail, she accepted Jesus. She still had to pay for the crime that she did. There was a consequence for this sin...her comfort was in the fact that she had eternal life....
@9CrystalDragon2 God's Holy Spirit is in the earth to convince people about the truth that He sent His son to die on the cross for the whole world's sins. God loves all of His creation and His Gospel will be preached in all the earth before the end comes. Even as we speak Jesus is visiting people of other faiths in foreign nations. He is doing miracles like opening blind eyes, unstopping deaf ears just like in the Bible. People of all faiths are giving their lives to Him.

God loves ALL of His creation and it's His job to reveal Jesus to them whether it's through a person, a visitation, dreams, miracles. However He want to do it. Thank you for your honesty with me. This prayer to accept Jesus is something that's done on the inside of a person. God will bring the change in you and those around you if you will trust Him to do it. How can I say that? There are many people who have had experiences similar to yours and came to the conclusion of a different religion, second wheres the difference between ur story of the murderer being let off and people who commit sins then just because they except jesus don't get punished for them, finally this is my own opinion people who have helped me, my family and friends are not nessiarily your religion and

Wouldn't you go to therapy to find out if your having mental issues? I know i would, because people who are insane are unaware of it. How do you know you're not nuts? You can't. @hiswings2009 Maybe forced was to strong of a word. Lets say pushed? Is that fair? Abuse is discipline through fear. Any hitting, yelling, or manipulation to install fear triggers a response in the brain that causes real psychical damage to the brain. When you started to hear voices did you even consider that it came from you? Did you consider therapy? Did you go and read psychology books to try and understand how this can be explained? Or was god the obvious and only possible conclusion?
@drogden No...honestly..I was not pushed into going to church....The voices I heard were not from me...not sure why you can't believe there can be God. Here's one for you....not sure if I shared it on the video..I was driving on the interstate..a divided highway..2 lanes going north..2 lanes going south. I'm driving south in the passing lane when suddenly a voice said to my mind get over in the right lane. I said "I don't want to get over". A few minutes later....

Suddenly from the opposite direction a car came out of no where. It was in the lane I had just gotten out of. It's headlights were off. It zoomed past me at about 80-90 miles per hour. I pulled off the road and the first question I asked was, "WHO was that voice that talked to me?" I didn't personally have knowledge of that car..I couldn't have ......
@hiswings2009 I seen your last video with your story. Your subconscious far more powerful and processes far more information then your conscious mind. Your subconscious mind takes in the vast majority of information that your conscious in not aware of. In other words you could have seen that car, but not consciously. It could have been your subconscious that urged you to move.

As long as rationality and intellectualism is your god, you cannot see God. God says that the wisdom of this world is foolishness with Him. He also said that he uses the foolish things (irrational) to confound the wise. You must be willing to lay down your earthly wisdom and then you will be able to see Him.

Of course there's something in the bible that say's nothing GOD says actually means anything. I'm sure he contradicts that statement along the way, but it doesn't matter. @drogden When I accepted Jesus personally, something happened. God put His Holy Spirit in me. I literally felt it when it happened. It felt like something dropped into the pit of my stomach. The Holy Spirit's job is to teach us and lead us into all Truth. I would do things I always did and suddenly know from the inside it was wrong. God's Word was written in my heart! It was the Holy Spirit who led me to the Bible and it takes His help to fully understand it and see it w/o contradiction.

Maybe this can be done if the person is just a little racist and still has some capacity for rational thought, but it would be impossible to convince a kkk member who's damaged mentally to the point of religious obsession..The same would go the other way. pt4 This is just my take of course and i could be 100% wrong. I don't know for sure, but what i do know is that obsession is the avoidance of grieving. That was almost like my last prayer. I've been an atheist since November last year. I feel relieved I don't have to live as you do. As for my mother. I'll wait for her to get smarter. My dad goes to church, but he doesn't believe in the religion. He goes just to see his family and socialize.

I just read something about you the other day. The scribes and the Pharisees asked Jesus to give them a sign. Jesus said, "A wicked and adulterous generation asks for a miraculous sign! But none will be given it except the sign of the prophet Jonah." Jonah was in the whales belly 3 days just as Jesus was in the heart of the earth 3 days. Thomas said He would not believe unless He saw first too. Jesus' told him to put his hands in His side, touch the holes in his hands but......
"be not faithless but believing". Thomas put his hands there BELIEVING and he SAW and FELT the truth. John 14:21 says, If you do what's right before God and obey Him, He will love you and "manifest" Himself to you. God promises to show HImself to those sincerely looking for Him. God will not show himself to prideful, arrogant, self-righteous people. Turn away from your thinking that you know more than God. Be willing to believe that He could be real. Then ask him to show Himself. He will.
There certainly won't be any point if you give up. All I know is the promise in John 14:21: Be willing to repent of your sin, obey Him and he will love you and manifest himself to you. The Amplified Bible says, "I will let Myself be clearly seen by him and make Myself real to him.". If you search for Him with all your heart, you will find him (Jeremiah 29:13). If you've got a negative attitude about the whole thing nothing will happen. Be not faithless but believing and God will show up!

@hiswings2009 Maybe forced was to strong of a word. Lets say pushed? Is that fair? Abuse is discipline through fear. Any hitting, yelling, or manipulation to install fear triggers a response in the brain that causes real psychical damage to the brain. When you started to hear voices did you even consider that it came from you? Did you consider therapy? Did you go and read psychology books to try and understand how this can be explained? Or was god the obvious and only possible conclusion?

Here's one for you....not sure if I shared it on the video..I was driving on the interstate..a divided highway..2 lanes going north..2 lanes going south. I'm driving south in the passing lane when suddenly a voice said to my mind get over in the right lane. I said "I don't want to get over". A few minutes later....

Suddenly from the opposite direction a car came out of no where. It was in the lane I had just gotten out of. It's headlights were off. It zoomed past me at about 80-90 miles per hour. @hiswings2009 I seen your last video with your story. Your subconscious far more powerful and processes far more information then your conscious mind. Your subconscious mind takes in the vast majority of information that your conscious in not aware of. In other words you could have seen that car, but not consciously. It could have been your subconscious that urged you to move.

As long as rationality and intellectualism is your god, you cannot see God. God says that the wisdom of this world is foolishness with Him. He also said that he uses the foolish things (irrational) to confound the wise. You must be willing to lay down your earthly wisdom and then you will be able to see Him.

@drogden When I accepted Jesus personally, something happened. God put His Holy Spirit in me. I literally felt it when it happened. It felt like something dropped into the pit of my stomach. The Holy Spirit's job is to teach us and lead us into all Truth. I would do things I always did and suddenly know from the inside it was wrong. God's Word was written in my heart! It was the Holy Spirit who led me to the Bible and it takes His help to fully understand it and see it w/o contradiction.

Maybe this can be done if the person is just a little racist and still has some capacity for rational thought, but it would be impossible to convince a kkk member who's damaged mentally to the point of religious obsession..The same would go the other way. pt4 This is just my take of course and i could be 100% wrong. I don't know for sure, but what i do know is that obsession is the avoidance of grieving. Which usually comes from early childhood trauma. I believe you are avoiding some very terrible pain to which you are not consciously aware of. I suggest you get some therapy to get off the drug of religion and come face to face with that terrible pain to over come it.That will take real virtue.

Although I do not believe in God as a christian, I am currently on my own spiritual journey to see what I believe is true.
I don't believe in the christian God at the moment, but I've favorited this just in case. Who knows, may need that prayer again some day. :)

As you take this spiritual journey, I pray that all the 'road signs' will lead you to a revelation of Jesus. Jesus still lives. If you search for Him with all your heart you will find Him. God can still break through into people's lives in these instances. God always answers. It may not be how you expect it. It may not be when you expect it. He loves you and all of His creation. Faith is the fabric of the universe. By faith God Himself created the worlds. God created "reality" from nothing. He is a "faith" Father who has created "faith" children in His likeness. Faith pleases God because when we exercise it, we're acting just like Him. God enjoys that. It's not impossible to know God. Why did you give up? God is not a liar. Jeremiah 29:13 says, "And you shall seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart." God wants fellowship with you more than you want it with him. Humbly seek Him. If you come with a proud "prove yourself to me God" heart, He will not come. But if you come with a "God I need you, I need to know you" heart He will. Check out the Gospels. Jesus never "proved" himself to anyone. Did that change the fact that He existed? No.

God knows all and he makes each individual person to his liking. Time is irrelevant. Since the beginning he already has everyone that will ever live marked to go to heaven or hell. He knows what everyone's experiences will be. So why would he make someone so that at the end of their experiences, they reject God? Even if his plan is for us all to hear his word and then choose for ourselves, then God has already chosen what we are going to choose. It's illogical to punish/reward us for that.

The purpose of the "good test" is to show self-righteous, proud people like you that you are a sinner in need of a Savior. Many people think they're good enough to get to heaven and they're going to get shocked when they die. I just want to tell people the truth so they CAN make heaven. If you put the parachute on, it may seem silly to those around you. It doesn't make sense to your mind. Everything seems to be allright with the plane. Let's assume you decide to put the parachute on. There are others that decide not to. They don't believe the stewardess. People start making fun of you. They call you a fanatic.
It doesn't make sense to their minds. However, within 5 minutes both engines go out and the plane is crashing. People aren't making fun anymore.

I would agree that the beliefs about God that most "Christians" hold aren't very appealing. but He has been severely misrepresented. I was a Christian. and than(probably for many of the same reasons as you) I became an Atheist. But I also had spiritual encounters with Him(I already know that won't convince you) but I've had physical ones as well. There certainly won't be any point if you give up. All I know is the promise in John 14:21: Be willing to repent of your sin, obey Him and he will love you and manifest himself to you. The Amplified Bible says, "I will let Myself be clearly seen by him and make Myself real to him.". If you search for Him with all your heart, you will find him (Jeremiah 29:13). If you've got a negative attitude about the whole thing nothing will happen. Be not faithless but believing and God will show up!
