one thing i don't get is, why do they were white pants, with the black one over it, does that have any special meaning?

@metallicaJo1988 The "white pants" are part of the GI which is the "kimono" if you prefer, the "black pants" is called the Hakama which is what the samurais used to wear and is meant to cover the feet movements of the person wearing it so that it's more difficult to the other person to understand what will be the next move of the person defending himself. I hope I'm not too late for giving you that response and hope it helps you understand better a little part of what is Aikido...

i miss kendo , i miss ankara and istanbul too , at france kendo is different ,like , it doesn't means "way of kendo " it's like "Way of fighting" .. That makes me crazy :(
