  • Ahhhhhh, like a breath of fresh air!

Thanks Paul and Mick for such a lovely, lovely song. And the video is superb!

  • I'd somehow totally forgotten about this song, so thank you for helping me rediscover a lost gem!

  • Beautiful.

  • TSC was one of the best "unknown" pop bands of the 80s. At least they were not very well known in the US, except for My Ever Changing Moods - which remains my favorite. The were so many others that were good, though, including this one.

    Thanks for posting.

  • Weller in a Paris state of mind.

Not too damn bad a poet.

  • Stozzler, in reaction to your comments I logged on to leave comments. I Love this song also, I just wish the lyrics were posted including the translation for the French.

  • WE,all go through changes, ask your kids if you have any,im 47 not proud nor ashamed but we were kids once and i was 22 ONCE

  • Etudier à Paris cest naître à Paris. Victor Hugo

  • thanks for this video. lifts my spirits everytime i see it.

  • Our Favourite Shop is still still got to be one of my best albums ever, & this is still probably the best track off it. Top drawer!

  • Visited Paris in 2004-You captured it beautifully and Weller's song is, of course, perfect.

  • Thank you for those kind words!

  • Tres magnifique Gnome City. Beautifully put together. I've tried to do something similar but it's not so good!

  • There should be far more comments on this video/tune.

I think we are blessed to have heard and seen it. Kind of a hidden treasure do you all think ?

  • @stozzler True words my friend,

The Best pop group in history.

Paul Weller is the most prolific song writer of all.

  • Paul Weller sings in french, can you hear that?

    Et c'est pas mal!

  • Love TSC. Hope to visit Paris one day.

  • Took family to EUROPE Spring 08, we visited Rome first then Paris second. We knew Rome was going to be alot of work on our Itieniary to visit all of the key historical places we could see in the six days we were there. The last part of our trip was going to Paris, France, I look at this video and so many of the places it shows, I am like I was there, We saw. It was truly a wonderful beautiful place to visit. Our 13 y.o daughter and 8 y.o son are already planning next Spring 09 vacation, Greece.

  • Hi,

don´t forget to visit Spain. I bet you´ll be delighted ..

  • If Paris is half as hip as this tune - I've got to purchase a pair of tickets for myself and the wife to see the City up close

  • it is I must say one of the most amazing cities I've seen , I thing only Prag as an edge on Paris

  • Weller captured Paris with this song unlike anyone before him or since. Every time I hear it, my mind wanders to the City of Light.

  • スタカンはヨーロッパの風が吹きますね。フットワークの軽さと同時に深い歴史性も薫って、安い日本人に真似できるような世界ではないね。

  • Greatest city ever, greatest band ever.
