  • Hi Chris, can you do a video about owning a car in the Philippines? For some reason the cars on sulit are sometimes double or triple the cost of cars on craigslist, but why is it so much more expensive in the Philippines? Can we bring and register our cars from the USA, I have heard there is a very high tax. Did you import your car? Assuming you are from the UK (rhd) and you're driving (lhd) I'm guessing you bought it there. I'm very interested in the Philippines, thanks!

  • @SKUNKBALLScom Great idea... I will do this for sure. But, bottom line... Yes, you CAN bring in your car from outside the country - but, its expensive, and you'll no doubt have to pay an extra 'fee' (if you know what I mean!) to get it through customs without any issues... I got my car here, so no issues. I'll do a video on this at some point in the future though, for sure.

  • Thanks, Chris!

  • I recommend you get a couple thick rubber bands and mount your phone or camera to your rearv view mirror or somewhere else in your car. ;-)

  • Hi chris, may I ask what city are you in?

But for me, when I was in the Philippines for 6 weeks last summer my day started with the horn toot of the pandesal boy on bicycle bringing me my hot breads for breakfast (at about 6am). Then checking emails from Canada for about an hour. Then clean up and start the team training by 10am (til 3pm). That's how I started my day for most to the 6 weeks I was in the Philippines. Thanks for the video posting.

  • Hi Chris. I always watch your videos. I have been to philippines twice already this year. I have a question. At the end of next year I will be finishing up my 6th year in the US Army in Hawaii and at the same time I will be completing my Bachelors of Business Administration. My wife is from cebu and we are strongly considering moving there to live. We are both 25 years old. I have wanted nothing more in this past year than to become an Expat. What tips or advice do you have for me to help me be
