Both girls are adorable, this little "ceremony" does not make up at all for the humiliation of having to sing at the Olympics "behind a curtain" while someone else takes the credit. That was poor judgement on the part of the Chinese authorities. It would have only be fair to allow the other girl to sing in public at closing, after all the whole world knew!

Too darn right. Give it a rest and just enjoy the two children's talents and beauty. They are both pretty gorgeous. I have seen Miaoke's interview. She is like a little jumping bean and very interactive with people around her, obviously a happy kid with bags of potential and striking beauty. Pei Yi's voice is just heavenly and she is still very young, like a baby girl. Her features are very relaxed and generous. I will kill for a granddaughter like that.

She is just sooooo lovely I can eat her. If DaTiaoZhan wants to hear Lin Miaoke sing, her voice is available in many sources. I have heard it, it is good enough, but not as good as Pei Yi's. I think Miaoke is more of an actress than a singer. They have different qualities and both are children who should be protected.

It not rejected her, it the other way around. The girl on stage supposed to sing it, but people in charge used her voice since the original girls voice is supposedly not as good as her. She is a backup singer for this song, and her name is actually in the program noted as backup.
