religion is a thing of faith either you believe the world was created by an all powerful being or you believe it just came to be from nothingness witch contradicts modern science. Something can not be made from nothing. Were did the atoms from The Big Bang Theory come from as a matter of fact were did the space they were traveling threw com from, too many question that can never be answered without coming back to god.
These facts are true, but we can not say that religions are cult based on these facts only because the every human is govern by those need of self improvement and gaining thing or enhancing there way of living it is human nature. Just because cult or some religious leaders exploit these things does not mean that all belief systems or religion are ment to decive or use us.
This sounds very much like scientology. At least mainstream religions do some good to this world, like the charities and the educational facilities opened in developing countries.
No, this is every Employement sucks. This is straight up every employee working model. Thats why I work for myself, to get away from these legal government sponsored cults.?! Anyways, Very Creepy...
This works because it is funny but dead on and information dense. I found myself saying. Yep, lol, yep, lol, yep, lol over and over. It wa also fun guessing whichh tactics go most with which cults.
The title of this upload should be "mind control made easy", or "how to be a cult leader"
This is generally how religion starts out: It centers around one person and gradually turns into what we see now. Put it simply, a cult is a religion which hasn't grown up.
@jackskellingtonsora That is debatable, since there are versions where sages went to buddha for enlightment. Those hindu sages in turn went to teach this new school of thought to others. SOme even kept buddhism as just an extension of hinduism. It is only after a long whiel that mdoern buddhists are nothign like the ancient ones.
Also, some religions started as an extension of culture, like hinduism, or many pagan religions. They did not have to start as a cult.
That is reminiscent of the stories of the disciples in Christianity. That version you described is still very much so based around the teachings of one person.
This is true, however the origins of hinduism and pagan religions are unfortunately lost to time. I wouldn't be surprised if the method of centering around one person in a cult like manner was how it started. I suppose you do have to have some starter religion to have people believe so they can call a cult as such, though.
@jackskellingtonsora Hinduism is most probably a combination of other religions, since when invaders came to India, most, except for the muslims, adapted to the Hindu ways. Also Hinduism in India is different than the ones out of India, such as in Bali. Neverthleless, itis difficlut to tell if it was a community thing, where it formed as a part of culture, or if it were a cult. But I doubt, even for Buddhism, that it was a cult like that shown above.
That would make sense for Hinduism. As I said, it would make sense that there would be starter religions, so to speak, to call the new ones cults.
The leader in this video has explicitly bad motives, but the leader in any new cult does not necessarily have bad motives. It is just one of the most important parts in the starting of a new cult. There has to be some sort of a leader, real or legend, good or bad motives. The leader is someone who everyone can rally around.
@jackskellingtonsora True. And considering the way that hinduism approaches nature, it is like the religions of nomadic people, where they honor nature. No cult leader started it definately (since they do not form a civilization), but rather their views are to honor nature. Over the years, with Hinduism, civilizations settled, and when invaders came in, nearly all, except for Christians and Muslims, assimlated, forming this very complex religion.
@madboyka The bad feelings you have about the music are just the primitive parts of your mind resisting enlightenment. Around the 20th time watching the video, the music starts expanding your mind! Just watch it over and over and you will become one of the chosen.
Wow! This is the most inviting of information, we all need to start our own religions. Once we do, then we will reform the earth into our likeness and image.
this video is beautiful. thank you.

I don't know what's funny about this- these are classic mind control techniques, several of which are used in less intensive cults (religions) today.

To an extent, yes, but it still has it's waky theories to keep you around. Such as meditating deeply will somehow make reality reveal itself to you.
However, Buddhism did start out as a cult and did start out centered around one person who spread his teachings.
