  • The Allman Bros. Live at the Fillmore East, the album from which this extraordinary version of In Memory... is taken may be the finest "Live" album ever released. Duane's solo, tops my list of favorite extended guitar solos, bar none. This album is about a great band, at a great venue (listen to the acoustics), masterfully recorded at their very best. Unfortunately, the world lost 2 of its finest musicians shortly after when Duane and bassist Berry Oakley were tragically killed. They are missed
