  • I love her perspective. Thanks for sharing.

  • I'm sorry, but I don't like these videos. It's stupid because even though the life story is good, and you can tell they're great people, it has nothing to do with whether they're Mormon or not.

  • This video has nothing to do with the fact that she is mormon.

  • It's funny to see so many "Christians" hating on this. Classic.

  • I am shocked on how much people feel so insecure about church and such that when they see this they have to instantly vote thumbs down. And not only that hate on anyone standing up to them. Get it together... Land of the free.

  • Christains FTW! No Troll Intended...

  • Howcome this got a lot of dislikes? People, i think our church is posting stuffs like these is because we're always get mocked and just to show you guys that we're all the same. We're not cult and that's it. Thank you for reading this

  • @xcoleaaax Speak good English much? Haha but seriously, your making us look bad! ;) I do agree with you though, people do need to bring down their biases and realize we are just normal people.

  • I'm Tiger, and I mark my territory...Pfft...

  • Also I would like to point out that the LDS church should stray away from blocking or having "comment pending Approval," it shows that you guys can't have any other opinions, and takes away from expressing ones beliefs.

  • .....And im a Christian.

  • @LiveGamingGuys Are you implying Mormons aren't?

  • I know exactly what she means by being around kids with special needs. They are seriously the best people to be around. My friend's little brother has down syndrome and he is the sweetest boy. I worked with a lady who had a mental disability, she was a brilliant dancer and was so kind to everyone. Good job Rochelle!!! :D

  • I am going to HELL for laughing.

  • @picturasonus There are many people out there who have wrong beliefs about Mormons, and some people have even been known to say that they have horns. I think the point of this channel is to spread to the world that while our views on religion may be different than others, as human beings, we are normal people who live normal lives. Thank you for being so polite and not trolling! I'm a Mormon and I was honestly scared to look at the comments. But you made my day!

  • I'm Bruce

    I'm a billionaire, I'm eccentric, I'm a crime fighter, and I'm batman

  • What can help someone believe in Christ's Love better than the true love of a mother to a special needs child?

  • why are all the mormon moms they put on these Milfs!

  • @TheJustinjz What is surprising is that they approved your comment. lol

  • gingers!

  • Who would dislike this video? Being an non-Mormon doesn't mean you should automatically dislike Mormon people; that's totally absurd. This woman is doing a great thing.

    I'm an atheist.

  • @evanjmoss I guess it's because her religion isn't the focus of the video and mentioning it plays off all of the hardships she's been through as an advertisement. She's a good person, who cares if she's a Mormon.

  • @evanjmoss You made my day!! You truly got the point of this video! It isn't marketing or trying to push our religion onto other people. It is just to show that we are no different as human beings than other people!

  • I'm Sarah.

    I'm a vegetarian, I'm a cat lover, I collect trolls. And I'm a Freemason.

  • and im a doorman

  • @babybeAsta877 ahahahahahhahahahahahah.

  • So I'm not here to hate. I really just don't understand what the point of this channel is.

  • @PicturaSonus So that people don't stereotype

  • @PicturaSonus ....It's called "marketing!"

  • Idk about this Mormon stuff but what is wrong with using youtube to spread the word of God? I feel like if this video was just about how she was the mother of special needs kids and hadnt mentioned the Mormon part it would have a considerable amount of likes. People grow up.

  • A redhead Texan? How's this supposed to make me a Mormon? I'mma stick with Orthodox.

  • RELIGION IS CORRUPT. IF LYING IS A SIN WHY DOES THE BIBLE LIE? IF ONE PERSON HAS AN IMAGINARY FRIEND THEY ARE CRAZY, BUT IF A WHOLE BUNCH OF PEOPLE HAVE THE SAME IMAGINARY FRIEND ITS A RELIGION?????

  • @TropicalJesusPlant can you calm down?

  • these are ridiculous. i am a christian, i don't care that they're mormons, i believe in god too, it's just so STUPID how they act like they're better than others in these videos because they're mormons. you can do everything she does and be athiest, or buddhist, it doesn't matter. i hate how they portray mormons.

  • wait so can any one of any other religion do these things? hahahah

  • I have to give it to the guy(?) who runs this channel, over 7000 dislikes (well over half of the votes) and tons of mean comments, yet he dosn't disable comments or voting. Kudos guy, kudos.

  • like if you laugh when you see these

  • @DRphoenix99 fail. no one liked your comment.

  • I live in a town full of Mormons and the things they say about their church really make me mad. They have a lot of different beliefs than me ( catholic). The thing I hate the most is all of them try to get me to join the mormon church, even my friends

  • The purpose of these videos is to clear some of the stereotypes that exist concerning Mormons. Why are people being so hateful? This video was done with the best of intentions. It's not meant to convert you- people shouldn't take offense to anything said. It's like people are taking any fault they can find from this video and reading too far into it. Please, calm down and see what this woman is doing. She has two children with disabilities. I think she deserves a little credit.

  • hehehe

  • I don't understand why so many people hate this video. This religion. Being a Mormon, I KNOW how it feels to be threatened, ridiculed and teased. That's why I don't go around degrading other people based on what they individually believe. It has nothing to do with their value as a person, and it breaks my heart to see that religion has become a variable attached to people in our society, as it's apparently unreasonable to leave somebody alone.

  • No offense, but since when did religion get into commercial society?

  • Logic of this video doesn't have sense!

Long story short: "I do a lot of cool stuff... and I'm a mormon". What does it precisely tell to us? You can do a lot of cool stuff and be a catholic or atheist too! How could this possibly convince anyone???

  • @Haloskulls117 These videos are just to show that Mormons aren't a bunch of weirdos (though there ARE some rather strange people in the Mormon church... as there are in all religions), just everyday people with a particular belief system. These aren't made to convert anybody. Catholics, atheists... etc can do likewise as well.

  • Yes, but will it blend?

  • So... this is a commercial for religion?

    What?

  • I'm Catholic.

I don't care what anybody says about it.

I don't care if other people care that I'm Catholic.

    I don't care if you're Catholic. I don't care if you're Mormon.

It doesn't affect me one bit. And that is why I don't hate, I just don't care.

  • @Sephazon haha fair enough

  • I was baptized into the Church almost 2 months ago. As a former non-believer, I can tell you that I used to find this and any church ridiculous and not worth my time. My life changed one night when I experienced the hand of God in my life for the first time when I asked with a sincere heart to receive him and his words. I was blessed throughout that night with what I later discerned to be revelations. I encourage everyone who's curious/misinformed about the Church to learn more about it.

  • Ok...

    Promoting religion on youtube...really?

  • Look. I don't hate Mormons. But convert elsewhere. We go to youtube to be entertained. Not to learn about religion. I would say the same to any Christian, Jewish, Islam, or other religious channel. Get lost.

  • I really don't understand the comparison between racism and religious discrimination... One is something you have no choice in, and the other is a very personal DECISION that you make. If you make a decision to believe that God told you the world was gonna end soon, then you will be criticized for it. The same thing goes for being Mormon (or Muslim). Beliefs are ALWAYS open to criticism, and they always should be. I'm Ben, I believe in intellectual integrity, and I'm an atheist.

  • @TheEnviousdominous If you're curious about their practices every Sunday, just go to one. You don't have to partake in anything you don't want to, just kick it in the back and observe.

  • I'm LDS and I have an atheist friend and gay friend and yes a LDS texan friend. I'm sorry about the corny video but we're just are saying that we're regular people that just trying to be the best we can be. Just don't be hatin' : ) Feel the love! Peace out homies!

  • Can you just stop hating? I am an atheist and we get the same hate that you throw at mormons. Just stop.

  • @CompanionCrate Statistically, atheists are more hated.

And I remember about 6 months ago when your comment would have been voted to the center of the world. We've changed!

  • @CompanionCrate I'm an American Muslim and I get plenty of hate from atheists. So while I understand exactly what you have to deal with (and then some), I don't think anyone is perfect.

  • @CompanionCrate Atheists aren't advertising atheism!

  • @CompanionCrate Atheists hate on Christians way more than Christians hate on Atheists dude. Don't go there.

  • @CompanionCrate atheists are rEaL????

  • @CompanionCrate sounds like you have a lot in common...

  • not to be weird... but she is very pretty for a redhead(:

  • All Abrahamic religions are violent and closed minded.

  • @IndigoVagrant

"All Abrahamic religions are violent and closed minded"

Nice, you disproved your own point in 8 words.

Saying all 'anythings' are 'anything' is just about THE most closed minded statement one can make.

    Congrats for the massive irony.

  • @IndigoVagrant

hahahahaha. I can't even believe people as hateful as you still exist.. I was certainly hoping that all our human advancements had gotten rid of people like you. Apparently not. With at least 4 billion adherents to Abrahamic religions in the world, you've got a lot of people against you. Maybe they are violent and closed minded. But so are you dude. Just read that comment one more time, from a different perspective

  • COOL STORY BRO

  • Im a mac ._.

  • Ive volunteered at a special Olympics before. I'm not a mormon... so whats the point of this video?

  • @AJ06 What IS the point of these videos? Is it to show that the Mormon faith is correct, or that good living is exclusive to Mormons? No. It is to tell our story on our terms to those who are accidentally (as opposed to willfully) ignorant about our religion. It is to show who we are and how the core principles of Christianity are reflected in the lives of faithful, practicing Mormons. In so doing we hope that fair-minded people will expand their views and want to know more.

  • @AJ06 That they're "normal" like you, is what they're for, I think.

  • doesn't matter how many of these commercials the mormons make...as long as Stephanie Meyer is alive and writing, the mormons will always be viewed as a joke

  • yay! I'm glad to be a mormon! :D

  • Why are people freaking out? It's so sad, if she'd said she was Catholic or any other religion, no one would care. But Mormons, oooh, suddenly it's stupid. Why? Why can't every religion just have respect and common courtesy? She's obviously a great lady, just give her credit for that much, whether she's Mormon or not.

  • who the hell disliked this? she has two kids with mental disabilities and on top of that, people judge her for her religion? this woman deserves a medal.

  • Why so many dislikes? :(

  • I've been watching these "I'm a Mormon" clips and noticed a few comments that just don't make sense. I understand most are jokes that are meant to provoke or be witty, but it's still a little too silly. These videos are just meant to show that Mormons are just like "normal people", not explain doctrine or say Ha! I'm better than you! There is a place to find doctrine, and those who say they have some sort of high-and-mighty status obviously aren't exactly what they say they are. It's that simple

  • This is my favorite "and I'm a mormon..." video...she's so warm and nice and I just wanna hug her.

  • I don't understand why people who don't like Mormons bother watching the videos, let alone take THEIR OWN TIME to bother writing immature comments. Bravo people. You're stupid in more ways than one. Mormons are probably the kindest, most selfless people on earth.

  • To all the trolls on here. You are all cowards. This lady has 2 special needs kids, 1 who she adopted. She posts her heartfelt story for the world to see. All you can do is hide behind a user name and make some hateful comment.

  • Umm. Do you guys realize you taught us nothing about the true beliefs of Mormonism? I saw the redhead, I saw the adopted child with Downs. What I wanted to see was the actual practices she goes through every Sunday morning.

  • Mormon sounds like a Pokemon.

  • "Two little girls and two little boys, who both have mental disabilities"

That's great, except Cerebral Palsy isn't really a mental disability. (Ok, TECHNICALLY, it means something's wrong with the brain, that doesn't tell the muscles to loosen, but if he acts his age and has no emotional problems, then it's a physical disability. Kids with CP aren't mentality disabled by default, for lack of a better word).

I should know, I have it myself.

  • I bet it's really edgy in the mormon community to raise kids with down syndrome.

  • Hey Mormons, stop advertising your religion as if it were a brand of coffee. I don't like this coffee, for it tastes horrible and doesn't work. Can't keep me awake... at all. Also, don't be biased of allowing only the "good" and "relevent" comments to be shown.

  • My name is Sydney, and I'm an athiest.

  • @xAngecielx So being welcomed into a huge community of friendly, kind and loving people who treat you like family and help you when you're in need wouldn't make your life any better? Religion has changed many peoples giving them guidance, morals, and a foundation to build upon. So yes, religion (including Mormonism) can make your life better.

  • Cool story brah- I'm atheist. What the hell does your religion matter to me?

  • WHY DO THESE THINGS KEEP POPPING UP ON MY YOUTUBE? Separation of CHURCH and STATE, youtube. Quit infringing upon my rights!

  • Wow, people with rude comments are obviously immature.

  • so what if your a mormon? it's not like it makes your life any better.

  • @xAngecielx makes it worse with all the misconceptions...

  • @xAngecielx The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints isn't all about having a happy life here on earth but also living how God wants us to so we can have an eternal and paradisaical life with our Heavenly Father and families in heaven. I do believe that being a mormon can help you have a happier life. The church helps you to: always have hope for better times, friends that will always be with you, stay morally clean, and many other benefits. Find out how it can make your life better.

  • @xAngecielx hahaha and how would you kow?

  • @xAngecielx I'm a Mormon and I know I'm happy.

  • coolstorymormon

  • hey, what do you call a Jamaican Mormon? A Mor-MON. Get it?

  • @Destroyyouallstudios haha that was funny mah mon.

  • All hail Satan!!

  • @lith324 Good for you. ALL HAIL GOD.

  • i didn't know the special olympics actually existed. i thought it was just a joke ROFL.

  • I am heartbroken to see a lot of dislikes, even more to see that people just come here to insult and be all sarcastic. I am also a Mormon and I invite you all to just go ONE time to church and see what it's about. Just take a same time to put your sarcasm aside and go with a good heart. That way you will personally know what goes on, the people will surely be so ever nice. This is not just labeled as a religion but a guide to make you happy and understand many things. We all deserve happiness.

  • @SahiraGJ Mormons assume that those that aren't in the church won't have happy fulfilled lives. How is that any different than those of us that don't believe, judging you right back?

  • @SahiraGJ nope

  • @SahiraGJ I did, and most Mormons are actually pretty chill people. Being an openly bisexual male, I'm used to religious people...not being very accepting, to say the least. I haven't heard of them picketing any military funerals, however. That's a plus.

  • @SahiraGJ Then why do you need to put out advertisements to prove it?

  • @SahiraGJ ok if i do that will you stop coming to my house to spread the word of your religion? and go do it somewhere else?

  • @SahiraGJ I think they have all the dislikes because none of this has anything to do with Mormonism, or you guys' god. They all just seem a tad bit condescending, like you have to be religious to be a good person. I have a friend who doesn't believe in God, and she works at a camp for kids with mental disabilities.

  • @haircutbob2 I don't think you have to be Mormon or religious to be a good person. And that's not what this video is about; it's telling you what we Mormons are like. Why? Because people seriously come up and ask us if we have horns. No, we don't. I'm a college student, an English major, an amateur comic artist, and a soon to be aunt (so excited!). And I'm a Mormon.

  • @SahiraGJ The dislikes are because these videos are promoted, so they're always in the suggested videos list, even if the video I'm watching has nothing to do with religion.

  • @SahiraGJ These videos are a perfect example of christians thinking they are special. You know, believe it or not, quite a few atheists really HAVE tried the christian experience. Been to church, read the bible, but in the end, it's all contradictive and silly. Just as one person doesn't like being stoned, another doesn't like believing in fairy tales and playing pious Pete in front of his peers. Most of christianity is an act, the most genuine people I know are not christian.

  • @SahiraGJ no

  • @SahiraGJ Who says all the people are athiest or agnostic? They may go to church. So saying they need to go ONE time is pointless when we could be anything other than mormon.

  • @SahiraGJ Yes but why does your religion feel the need to cherry-pick mormon families and then post it on youtube

  • @SahiraGJ "understand many things"

    HA

  • @SahiraGJ I dislike this because it starts out like some promotion for helping kids with needs and then all of a sudden it's BAM!! actually about Mormonism. I think it's that Shyamalanesque twist that gets under some people's skin.

  • @SahiraGJ

Oh you guys are great people definitely, but see from our perspective. Most of us are Christians and Catholics. Some are atheist. But just know we don't dislike Mormons as people but the belief system you guys have. Yours beliefs and ours beliefs differ completely and having this whole "I am a Mormon" video does show you guys are nice people, but it honestly serves no purpose.

  • @SahiraGJ Merely curious. Do Mormons believe that Native Americans are a lost tribe of Israel?

  • @AustinMartinLay Not all Native Americans, though we do believe there was a group from Jerusalem that came to the Americas way back and settled and they were from one of the tribes. To be honest, I'm not too sure, and I don't wanna make it seem like I'm 'advertising' but you're best bet is to go to lds (dot) org and see

  • @SahiraGJ dont try to push your beliefs onto others.

  • ...my name is Derek.

  • @hokchun430 "They look at them as they are the evils"? No, they look at them with disgust because they obviously have no respect for others. "...and they are mormon".. please. Your friends were smoking (and probably littering) on private property that prohibits it. Anyone would be insulted.

  • the approval bar looks like my lightsaber

  • The sadness of this video isn't that the Mormons are showing that normal people participate in the religion, it's the amount of losers that disagree with their beliefs posting pointless hateful comments on the video... Do you not have anything else going for you in your life? Nobody really cares. I'm not Mormon, but I'm not going to stoop so low as to spread hate, you don't need religion to learn that.

  • ahaha these comments are hilarious.

  • Okay there is nothing wrong with being Mormon but a red head from Texas now there's some issues.

  • Cool story....girl.

  • Texas has special olympics? FAMILY GUY U LIE.

  • @gotyourtongue "consumed by the spirit of satan" seriously? You're one of the people who are causing all of these stereotypes about mormons.

  • the comments <3

  • When you understand the reason, why you believe in the Bible, you will know the reason, why I also believe in the Book of Mormon.

  • People take religion too seriously. -__-

  • I like to make fun of the type of Mormons that act like they can't have something in their house because it's called devil's food cake

  • @TheCrimsonWarhawk Same, or mormons that won't play the board game "Jackass" even though it is referring to the animal.

  • When you understand the reason, why you believe in the Bible, you will know the reason, why I also believe in the Book of Mormon.

  • I'm Commander Shepard and this is my least favorite video on Youtube..

  • She is remarkable. The world needs more people like her. We should love one another.

  • These commercials are meant to break down stereotypes. Questions about doctrine are addressed at mormon dot org or search MormonMessage here on YouTube.

  • Mormons are so cool!

  • I don't really understand the "let's put above-average-looking folks on camera with all sorts of storylines and I'm x, y, z, and I'm a Mormon" ... I think the less-viewed cartoons on the other mormon page (guess it's not LDS' official one) with the stories would be more helpful considering how obscure and alien the actual book reads... this is just ... "Wow, look, I'm a Mormon!" I think Shaycarl's family does it 50x better than all these combined. I'd rather see views on polygamy etc addressed.

  • @122172639 These ads were targeted to attract the bigoted Mormophobes whose minds have been contaminated with hatred and lies. Their intent is to hopefully soften the hearts of those who have not been totally consumed by the spirit of Satan. Like most bigotry; Mormophobia is most prevalent among the less educated population; unable to perform their own research to find the truth and end up believing and spreading the lies that have been spread by the weak, wicked and hateful disciples of Satan.

  • I was so confused when I saw one of these commercials, it was so random, then "im a mormon." I was just thinking what was the point of this

  • Click my user name ( sergioiification) to see smthing funny

  • This is actually beautiful! Ignore all the attacks by haters...

  • I watched this video, and now I'm a Mormon!

  • everybody judges mormons ,like if they are perfect , leave that for the lord guys,

  • See? Gingers have no soul.

  • comment pending approval.... com on approve this

  • Can I say something I don't look down on any religion. But can I see you actually explain the religion. Most of these are ads saying peoples daily lives. Which I understand its saying are no different than you or me, but please clear light on this.

  • @ZombieShogun Okay; Love Jesus by living his commandments & serving your fellow man. You can google the Latter Day Saints or Mormon 13 Articles of Faith to see exactly what we believe. If you really are concerned with the truth about The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Saints do your research at the LDS website; lds.org. Visiting anti-Mormon websites will only fill your head with hateful, hurtful lies and rants. True Faithful Mormons want you to know the truth; lies don't help anyone but Satan.

  • I think these ads are to make sure people realize Mormons are normal people. There are a lot of more misconceptions about their beliefs and lifestyles. If more people understand this, then the Mormon faith will be more acknowledged and accepted.

  • This ^

  • I am a Mormon too, and I respect this mom for her dedication.

Kids with special needs are precious.

  • did i just hear that right? at 1:37, the only purpose of kids with mental disabilities is to teach us "normal people" compassion?

  • 0:36 LMAO is she spraying febreze on that kid's hair??? LOL the line right before was "I take my job very seriously" lololol

  • My name is Internet, and I am not mormon. I AM GOD.

  • My name is Bill and I'm a Satanist. :)

  • @pjb7350 idiot.

  • I like Puppies!!!

  • God Bless You, Mothers are the strongest angels ! I have an older sister who is handicaped also. It is very hard to deal with some time , but like you say , they are here to show us how to love.

  • @crazygeo81 sexist...

  • Comment removed

  • And with how many dislikes your mormon propaganda campaign has its not going very well. Another person asked on another one of these, "why do we need religion to be happy?" Just as important is why do we need religion to feel like our humanity is complete? God these campaigns aimed at the gullible tv watching public are just dumb. Just my opinion.

  • WHY am I watching these!?!?

  • @SerenaTheUnicrorn im saying the exact same thing to myself

  • my name is jeffrey dahmer, and im a mormon.

  • How did I go from Weezer to here?

  • Hello I'm Wiccan.

  • one time my friends smoke in a mormon area (Ephraim,UT). The people look at them as they are the evils, and they are mormon

  • Man, gangsta, Satanist. Hey, i can do it too!
