@PhreakStep Because at the end of the 80's there were few rappers standing up who started being more creative on the vocal and rhyming part, which shaped the hiphop sound for the 90's, it had a huge impact. That huge impact was later taken by record companies to rape the hiphop culture and sell it out like previously done by other genres. As soon as music can make you big money, that music will be exploited.
