Once you get good waves, you never want to go back to SoCal. MOST people here haven't seen "good" surf so they just never know. And then when it does all come together like a miracle, they "statue surf" it cuz they are not used to it. Then the media acts like it's happening good all the time trying to promote more crowds when it's already hopelessly overcrowded on top of the garbage shape. I could cruise the new skateparks and get 100 times more action
