Knowing God or journeying with Him means involving Him in your life, decision, choices you make, just like you would a spouse, parent, best friend. He is that and a lot more! And He wants to speak to you even more than you want to hear Him. He is not distant and unapprochable, like many of us were raised to believe (including myself).

I agree with you, I hope you can count on your parents always! I am a parent myself and I love my kids more than anything in this world but there are things beyond myself, beyond anything that money, education, discipline can do. And its very reassuring to know God is on our side. "Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you" (Deutoronomy 31:6, Hebrews 13:5).

Wow! Lots of passion coming out here. I totally understand the ones who are so turned off towards Christianity. Even though I'm a Christian myself, it's painfully obvious we've really screwed some things up and projected an image of narrowness, hypocrisy and judgment. I'm sad it's come across that way, and even sadder if the intensity of your anger is coming from a background of being personally hurt by the Christian Church.

Superboy... I understand what you're saying. But... how do you go about proving it? It's a pretty heafty claim to be able to prove that ALL religions and ALL Gods are fictional. I'm familiar with the pagan re-rendering thing, and actually gave it some thought recently. But a closer examination of all that shows that much of it is built on some pretty sketchy evidence.

I want to know Truth bad enough that I'm willing to change my beliefs to fit reality. But I need proof. Do you have it?

It seems easy to tear apart the people who communicates some message to you—you should. But Jesus isn't like that. He loved people and welcomed them into his life. The only ones he condemned were religious people who drew circles around themselves in the name of God and shut others out, or religious people who pretended to be something they weren't. Sadly we Christians have often done that very thing. (more later)

The very defiition of faith is "being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see" Hebrew 11:1 or as Martin Luther King said it "Faith is taking the first step, even when you don't see the whole staircase". the reason we ask you to pray and ask God to reveal Himself to you is because we know HE never fails! You know that is such a wrong perception of who God is. He is just the opposite, the Bible says that He is LOVE and that He loves us with un everlasting, unconditional LOVE. That He has your name written on the palm of His hand. THIS is the God we are inviting you to "try". Serving and loving this God is a lot more comforting than you can ever imagine. About science, I can tell you that the scientists have not disproved the reality of God's existence and that evolution is only a theory, still to be proven. There is a lot of facts missing in the evolution theory and scientists agree that it is only a theory, unfortunately Universities and High Schools teach this theory as reality as an alternate to creationalism views.

I am sorry that you feel this way about God and reality. God didn't give it all to us, but He gave us you and we will be praying for you. I always thought Romania was a Christian nation, isn't the nation 96% Orthodox? If it is that would make all other beliefs 4% of the population.
