As a former AF Sentry Dog Handler in Vietnam (66-67) I know how hard a job the handlers of today have it. They save many of our troops from harms way. My dog Duke did his job from 1966 to 1972. He served to protected his handlers just as he protected me. I will away have a place for him in my heart and thank all handlers of handled him. Thanks to all who work a team dog that serve to protect.

I worked in security as a dog handler for 12 years with 3 dogs. I have not had a stronger bond with any one than my work dogs. They kept me safe in so many incidents. I will never forget them. R.I.P. Bronson, Jay & Muffin...

besides our troops the mwd are there when there in line of service the mwd are there when there handlers are down thanks to mwd handlers and mwd you guys are the most inportent to the military

When it comes to our freedom, we shouldn't forget, those who sacrificed their lives for us. The ones who lived, the ones who died and all of the ones that were left behind. Also a great big Thank You to ALL of the forgotten animal heroes that helped to save so many lives in the process. Please don't forget them when you remember the human lives that were lost. For so many of them, their lives were lost too.
