  • even the "s" at the beginning of the first tune is awesome. So together.

  • this is the best thing i've ever seen ever.

  • The bass's gliss at the end of Sunny Side Up is beautiful.

  • You know, if I'm Oxley, Derosa and Lewis I think I'd be able to take a few jokes. Jeff and Tony especially should have back problems from trying to wear all the medals they've won, and I hear that Gary's singing lead in a new quartet that's pretty good. He can capture another gold and then start working on his bass voice. Thanks for the response...

  • @billb0925 Yeah no problem. Oh, and you forgot about Clancy :P

  • I didn't mention him because he's not a multiple gold winner yet, at least in quartets.

  • @billb0925 He is in choruses though haha. But yeah I see what you mean.

  • Thanks for putting this back up. I love the music but don't sing and haven't been to a contest, so I'm wondering about all the digs the quartets make at each other. Did the guys from Max Q take it like good sports?

  • @billb0925 Yeah, quartets don't usually get angry at each other haha. Storm Front based most of their set list in 2010 to make fun of Old School

  • The end with the bass slide is awesome.

  • holy chord ringer!!

  • I've missed this video! thanks for the repost!

  • Glad this vid is back up again. 2 of my faves, back to back. Mark Metzger is a crazy awesome Bari.

  • I didn't know Jon Stewart sang barbershop..

  • 3:26 is the money shot. Excellent.

  • What an awesome tag on Yesterday I heard the Rain. Just brings tears to your eyes.

  • 3:11- 3:25 so loud and then so soft at 3:27, incredible :D

  • every time in the tag when it hits the "time" in "I hear your name each time" I find my mind destroyed by all of those overtones.

  • @trumpetguy19 I got goosebumps just reading this.

  • I cannot stop listening to this set. That Bari... That Tenor.... All of them... So great. For once I prefer the ballad over the uptune. :P

  • Got to hear this line-up sing this 2 days ago at the Evergreen District convention. John was sick but they still nailed it...amazing song!

  • This baritone is ridiculous.

  • I love how light the bari is, the whole quartet is phenomenal

  • Actually came at the Rain tag..

  • "A great quartet can make an arranger seem very good!"

-Brent Graham (Arranger of this ballad)

  • that bari is something else

  • their Sunny Side Up may be my favourite international performance of all time. Thank you so so much for posting—I hadn't seen the video to it before.

  • how do you even compete with that?!

  • @kowens001 What u mean brother?

  • @bbshopdude meaning how do you outsing them? tooooooo good..

  • Comment removed

  • @kowens001 you don't; you just place some gold medals over their necks, walk away, and don't ask questions.

  • One of the greatest musical displays I've ever heard. And why no instrument can beat what a human voice can do.

  • thanks for putting this back on youtube. Ive missed it.
