i think its pretty good for a 13 year old, wasnt the flip side of paper roses in the UK, the flip side was Least of all you. But this song belongs to Connie Francis.
@LazlosPlane That could be like saying Pavarotti sucks because he's not as good as Caruso was. It is possible for more than one person to sing well, and Marie didn't make all that money because nobody liked her singing.
I assume you like Connie Francis better, and overall I would have to agree, but I also like the way Marie Osmond sings. The world is large enough for both.
Looks like we're comparing both Marie's and Connie's version of this song. It's a matter of taste. Connie sings it well. Also, slow and boring. But it's good music to relax to. My vote with this song goes to Marie.
@childsweethearts This cannot compare to the million selling Connie Francis version which is sung so unusual as it should be - Connie sings it in an in-your-face manner, like she means it with her strong crystal clear voice.
This is the first version of this song that I heard, so my heart will always be partial to it since I was very young at the time. Since I've gotten older, I've also become a big Connie Francis fan, so I love hers, too, of course! I love both versions - Marie and Connie are fabulous. <3
Absolutely not...this is way below par compared to Connie's who has a unique and classic version. Connie's version is perfectly pitched with the right vibrato and in-you-face attitude. That is why it sold millions.

God, she sucks. Whoosh! She's not a pimple on a boil of the ass of Connie Francis.

There are more versions of this song than just Marie's and Connie's.
I know that there are at least 4 versions and Connie's is not the original.
Got to agree with a lot of you that Connie's is the best.
This is good though.
