  • were are the coaches from

  • @fatzGeronimo Walthers, who else?

  • @NJTrainSET true. Dose walthers still make them

  • awsome video!! where can I get the little toys and the NJT set?

  • ALP44 happens to be my favorite electric loco. I own two in HO scale with 10 NJT Comet coaches and 4 cab cars.

  • Omg thats awesome. where can I find this train/Cars single or Multilevel?

  • Can someone explain the difference between an AEM-7 and an ALP 44?

  • Visually they have different numberboards, marker lights, headlight placement and intake vents. The most noticable is the intake vents on the top sides of the 44s are taller. Mechanically and electrically they are pretty similar. AEM7s were made in america by EMD using ABB sweedish parts based off the Rc4 and the ALP44 was made in sweeden. earily models were based on Rc6 and the M model (4420-4430) based on Rc7 model. Both models have 7,000hp and provide 500kW of HEP.

  • Thank you! Whats an Rc4, Rc6 and Rc7

  • The respective sweedish locomotive models that the AEM-7 and ALP44s were based off of in sweeden.

  • Where's the NYSME? I'm in Upstate New York, Trying to Find a HO scale Club somewhere IN the state.....

  • Its actually located in northern NJ in the meadowlands just minutes from the giants statium.

  • What's with the tank car?

  • Its the moonshine party train!!

Actually its because at the time of the video shooting these were the only pieces of HO equiptment I owned at the time that could run on the layout.

  • Oh.

  • verynice set,i also have this.i bought a mth f40 amtrak to transform into a njt.atlas is sharp

  • I'm getting an ALP-46, a GP40PH-2, and a GP40FH-2

  • Have fun trying to get these since nobody makes any of them. The FH can be bought as a shell but requires ALOT of work to make it happen. I have had one for a year now and its still not complete.

  • yes they do, island modelworks does

  • Yea only the 46. Hope your a skilled modeler, thats not an easy one to put together. These custom resin kits while some are very nice are not you Athearn Ready to roll. Be prepaired for paint, decals, and a good amount of mechanical work!

  • nice, are those the cars you said it could pull on railfan day, the ones with the newer wheels right?

  • Yep, all 5 of them and thats about it. Before the new trucks/wheels it can only pull 4 of them with the walthers wheels and trucks. They dont roll well at all.

  • yeah I know, I have them in, and they don't work well at all. what kind of trucks are you using, and what's going on with your comet 5s, i ordered 2 coaches and a cab, can wait, but I need to find a guy to paint them

  • I want 1 of those

  • now that is somthing that you don't see every day!

  • Don't let the detail police catch this (can you say

    multiple tickets??? LOL

  • That ALP44 looks alot like an AEM-7.

  • i heard alp 44s are retired aem-7s

  • This is totally wrong and lies. The ALP44s were built new for NJT in sweeden.
