  • not fun of cherries too (cause of hand-picking them on every summer) :( have accidentally bought frozen duck instead of turkey for Christmas and got it left sitting there in the refrigerator not knowing what to do do with it.... Seems nice tho not fun of cherries and that much of sweet and salty combinations.

  • Before I came to study in the UK, the only thing I knew to make was probably an omelette or 'put-oil-put-sausages-on-pan' and that was basically it.

    From the moment I stumbled to your videos especially starting off from the SIMPLE no bake cheesecake, I'm apparently a decent chef now with Italian, Indian and Asian cuisines becoming my repertoire.

    All I needed was a solid (and probably nutty too) foundation that was you Titli!

  • @TitliNihaan Assalamualaikum. Where do I get halal duck in the UK? Ever since coming here for studies I've been craving duck to the extent that I wouldn't mind having to cook it myself. :)

  • Shouldn't duck be cooked pink? I imagine it was quite dry.

  • @N1Jr Unsweetened grape juice or plain water

  • @N1Jr If you used a red wine the alcohol would cook off while cooking the cherry sauce.

  • @TitliNihaan By jove you are right! I looked into it and stick a fork in me, my whole perception of cooking just went out the window, also I'm deliciously fork tender. This would explain why after I poached fish the other day with white wine I kept telling the cat I loved him.
