I'm tough on crime, I support school choice and the death penalty. But everything else I tend to be liberal on. The point is I am not 100% conservative on anything or 100% liberal. Hilarious stuff. Obamacare is modelled on a number of GOP healthcare initiatives; in fact, the plan is almost identical to Mitt Romney's healthcare reform act several years ago. As for publicly provided college education, it hardly makes sense to dip into every citizen's pocket if not all of them desire or require a college education, since it is not a fundamental requirement for every career path.

@InfernalApocalypse I don't know what you find so funny. You made a big error assuming I'm a fan of Obamacare or Romneycare or whatever you want to call it. It's practicly useless to me without a public option so if you republicans want to take credit for it go right ahead. Also there's this thing it's called progressive taxation. The magic of it is that the more you benefit from society the more you have to pay back. So there would be no "dipping into every citizens pockets", as you put it.

I'm not a Republican. I'm not even an American. I just happen to have a lot of family in the States who are affected by legislative decisions. Obamacare is the closest thing to universal healthcare you've gotten -as pitiful as that is - and it's a Democrat initiative modelled on old GOP healthcare plans. That's a verifiable fact. And if you think the American tax rate is especially progressive you're out of your mind.

@InfernalApocalypse I don't think the American tax system is very progressive. I was talking about how I would prefer it to be. And I dont care what the new health care bill was modelled after or what the republicans did ten years ago. The republican party (of today) are racist monsters who would like to abolish all laws and social programs that help the poor, elderly or disabled. They are probably planning more wars as we speak.
