i think it came out in the year 2004 but it was very hard to find and expensiv beacuse there are many minifig.

This is better than the death star the death star is great but this set is so classic for star wars and if you really a star wars fan like dollarsignfrodofan77 you would problably pay qiute much for it!

Yes it's a very nice set - but not worth the the hyped up prices of today - on Amazon it's £545.00!!!!!!!

The Death Star is much better value at under £300.00 and you it's a better set!

I got it for 200 bucks. I was lucky though. It's totally worth 200 bucks. I see it as an investment. Don't buy new unless you're going to keep it new in the package. I buy slightly used sets usually since I'm going to build and display them anyway.
