  • Isn't this weird? How this episode sticks out the most in my mind too, like "wandingstar" said? Because from this tv show I remember the most this episode and when they are in some tree house and they wear balloons as boobs

  • I once got stuck in chimney while playing hide and seek.

  • alen stop it ok stop it i almost pissed my pants

  • - "¡Dad, Cherie won't come out of the fridge!"

  • What a stupid kid!

  • fake

  • I thought it was funny when the thing blew up from slamming the door, just after he said "it was made to last" :D

  • I believe that it's difficult for little kids to open a fridge because of air pressure changing when the door closes, and depending on if they pull it tightly closed with a shelf on the inside, it squeezes air out, creating a greater air pressure difference than there was when the child opened it.

My freezer is hard to open if it's pushed shut too hard, and then I can hear air going in when pulling on it. I can see how a child could get stuck in there

  • i remeber this as a child after wacthing this one i never ever climed into freeezer to hide

  • i was 8 when punky came out loved it than and now i am 35 and i still love it

  • @captxena31 Me too! I bought the entire series of "Punky Brewster" and bought Soleil's new book! I also remember this episode from years ago standing out. I really enjoy this show because of the clean humor and funny yet somewhat real storylines. I do miss the classic TV I (we, 30s+) grew up with! I can live without the built-in public service announcements built into some of the shows in the mid-late 80s into the 90s.

  • omg why would u do that if youput sister in freeze she could become traped and die thats not a safe way to play

  • i loved this show as a kid and this one I will always remember.

  • hahahahaha and im only a child

  • Every time I see a fridge outside without the door I think of this.

  • dude, i hated alan back then and i hate him now.

  • very awkward the tension between allen and mike in the class lol

  • Wow... I remember watching this when I was in, like, the first or second grade. One of my favorite childhood television shows.

I want to titfuck adult Soleil Moon Frye so badly.

  • ur an idiot if u think of putting ur sister in the freezer you should be shot for thoughts like that

  • Ill never forget this episode for some reason.. Everytime id hide my sister in the freezer id think of this episode.. and wish i had a lock.

  • @Tails04 you wish you had a lock why so she would freeze to death ??? whats wrong with you ??

  • @followurdreams1000 Obviously thats a joke... Anyone with an actual sense of humor and a younger sibling growing up would have caught that..

  • wow its been so so long,

    wow im old now

  • as long ago i saw this i always remembered it this was my fav episode

  • I remember when I first watched this episode. Me and my sister were crying.

  • Well, that's not exactly true, but it keeps the blood moving until paramedics can administer continued CPR, oxygen and the necessary medication.

    I know. I'm a paramedic.

If Allen thinks THAT'S gross, he ought to come on an ambulance run w/ us. He'll see a whole lot grosser.

  • i didnt even start watching it yet i pased to c the comments bt i can already tell this is gonna b awesum

  • this episode saved alot of kids with the frig trapping

  • I wasn't born anytime during the Punky Brewster series, but i love this show so much. I love it so much, and it makes me feel so good about everything.

  • I remember this..is was kinda scary when I watched this as a kid...

  • boom mic at 4:14 upper right corner

  • LOL, OMG.

  • This was my favorite episode!

  • Why does Mike hate Allan so much?

  • cause allan was a douche and he wouldnt shut up

  • he doesn't, Allen was being a little shit.

  • i love this one!!

  • i love allen

  • I was looking for this episode for the longest! This is my favorite...

  • I want to play in the fridge too!

  • So this is Punky Brewster Ive never seen this show but herd lots about it, Pretty little girl, I wonder what shes doing now.

  • shes on the repeat eps of sabrina the teenage witch...as her friend Roxy

  • She is the co-owner of The Little Seed Eco-friendly baby boutique in Los Angeles, California and is married with two daughters Poet and Jagger.

  • TK Carter playing a serious role. I haven't seen this episode in over 22 years.

  • This is the one episode that sticks out the most in my mind from my childhood.

  • Yes! I have described this episode to a few people when Punky Brewster came up in conversation and no one remembered it. I was like "You know the episode where Punky's friend gets locked in the fridge!" I almost thought that I invented this episode in my head! Now I can have a piece of mind!

  • @wandingstar i kno exactly what you mean i had nightmares for years from cherrys incident.

  • @wandingstar Same.

  • @wandingstar this is the episode that comes to mind when i hear of punky brewster

  • Those are pretty aggressive chest compressions. Don't let those ribs puncture the lungs, girl!

Cherie getting locked in the fridge was scary as a kid. I was born in 1979, a few years before Punky.

  • AHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAA

  • Realisticaly, at the very end when Cherie is yelling for help, she may have been standing behind the fridge...

Later when Henry opens it up to find Cherie, she probably was in there for like 2 seconds and she knew that Henry would be opening the fridge to get her out.

And Cherie was just told to act and look unconscious for those few seconds.

  • umm duh...

of course she was told to ACT unconscious.

and of course they're not gonna keep her in there forever.

  • Oh Lord poor Punky Hyperextended the neck before giving the breathes. It does not work that way. You will close off the airway compelety. She and margo did a good job, though. I love love this show

  • Ha, that and apparently Mike forgot to teach them that you need to look at the chest to make sure it's rising with rescue breaths and that you can't do cpr with your elbows bent. And when was the compression-ventilation ratio ever 4:2?

This was a classic episode though.

  • Too true!! You never know though, It may been taught different back in the day, but I doubt it. lol, Are you an EMT or a Medic?

  • Always found it interesting that despite Margeaux getting a $60/week allowance and living in a huge mansion, she still went to public school and walked there every day.

  • I remember trying to do C.P.R. on my dog who had lung cancer and oral/nasal cancer.

  • Boom mike @ 4:15.

  • Pun intended or no??

  • No. =)

  • Reason I said that is because Mike is of course the name of Punky's teacher.

Hey, Mike Fulton is a darn good teacher!

  • I remember this one. I think I was about 6 or 7 when it aired. Years before this episode aired, I put my sister in the refrigerator...a working one. Luckily, my mother was standing nearby and got her out and gave me quite the reprimand. I was probably about 3.

  • alan is so cute

  • this is what I remeber clearly.

as a child after I watched this episode, I remeber to stay clear of refriderators and playing in things that are not toys.

I learned alot from this show

  • i know. i'm still learning stuff from this show.

  • I know, this is the one I remember the best. I remember one time when Margo dressed up as Punky or vice versa or something, but this is always the first. I think about this show every time I see an abandoned fridge and trust me... I NEVER went near them, they scared me to death because of this episode!

  • Yeah, that was one of the parts of the five-part episode "Changes" that aired, I believe.

  • wow - I can't believe that I'm not the only one who remembers this as 'that one' video!!

  • omg!!! my favorite episode... I remember crying watching this. The good ol' days! Cherie was my favorite character!

  • i think of this eposide when i look at adandoned frigs

  • this is the episode EVERYONE remembers when you ask them about Punky

  • Whoa, it's true!! This IS the one episode I remember!

  • whens part 2 coming

  • When I think of Punky Brewster this is always the episode I remember.

  • this is the only episode that i partly remember from my child hood. Soliel Moon Frye was so cute as Punky !

  • where is part 2.??

    =(

  • I seached for part 2 and I couldn't see it.

    this is so weird.

  • nostalgia1979 didn't post it yet. But boyboy1080 did a part 2 4 her.

  • This episode scared the SHIT out of me when it first aired.

  • Allen has a strange sense of humor.

  • Where is part 2 of 2?

Am I the only one that can't find it?!

  • part two hasnt been posted yet. I had the second part on my channel but some hacker deleted it

  • game over, cherie.

    game over.

  • hell's yes!!

saw this when i was, like, five.

never played in refrigerators ever despite the temptation.

  • What name brand is this refrigerator? Cherie should have known better not to go inside & hide in the refrigerator by trapping herself in there & that is a no-no.

  • please when is part 2 coming?

  • Arrrghhh where is part 2???

  • I remember crying for cherie when she got stuck!! This is the only episode I really remember..thanx for uploading!!

  • I love this one!Yipeeee!!!!!

  • I remember my sister and I thought this was so freakin funny as kids and my mom was like "THATS NOT FUNNY!!!" lol...but how is someone getting stuck in a refrigerator not funny? lolol

I remember my grandparents (my dad's mom & dad) having a fridge that looked a lot like the one Cherie got stuck in.

    Thanks again. Bye.
