If anyone should understand and fight against bullying it should should be the Catholic community. After all the hate and bigotry we faced when trying to build our churches in the Western U.S. of the 1800's we understand better than most what evil can lurk in the hearts of man. We were picketed, attacked, accused of indoctrination, and our houses of worship were burnt to the ground. Hate must be challenged at every turn by shining love on its dark, dank hiding place.
