Look not to hate, it was a nice job, but i really think using stencil is kinda cheap. Like Put some heart into what you make and do it all by hand or at least try. But it came out very clean looked professional

@MrJoelab It's better to experiment with the cheap shoes first, then move up to the Vans.... It's better to spend 12 bucks and screw up the art than blow 60 bucks and screw up the art.

what kind of knife you uses to make those stencils, they are very detailed.

It's a scalpel they use at the hospitals to cut in flesh. They are very sharp! Sharper than normal hobby knifes. And then i have practised alot (:

BTW the scalpell blade is by a company called "Aesculap" and the type I use is "BB511"

great work, have you tried doing a bit of free hand work on your shoes to get away from that stencil look..bit of shading and a few details to costomise them even more...but great work and thanks for all the info...tim..england.

The paint i used is a water based paint called "Golden" It's made for airbrushes. After it was done, i used a laucquer that dosent affect the water based paint. It's made for the airbrush too.
