  • great info, thank you. do you think a 2 to 3 minute watering at maybe noon and 4 pm would help cool the turf during very hot periods ? i've read about this but haven't tried it.

  • @turtlesrcool5515 As long as there is some wind and the humidity is not too high, a syringing as you describe can help. Hand syringing can do a little better job, but a turn on the irrigation heads will help. Without some wind (natural or using fans), there is a risk of just adding water to an already stressed area possibly making the area too wet. Air movement is critical.
