In fact the words "german(ic)" and "germ" have the same origin.

The latin word "germanicus" comes from etruscian/oldlatin "germen" meaning "seed, off-shoot" and so does the english word "germ".

Well there are other theories as well but this is quite sound though.

Okay, I CAN say this much w/o it being a spoiler:

When I first saw the running time I thought, "YIKES! this is a long one," but the pacing of everything was such that the 14 minutes zoomed by quickly. And I gasped at the cliffhanger too.

Ps. some of the voices were easily recognizable, but one or two surprised me and I had to go back and listen to believe what I was reading in the closing credits. WAY COOL!
