David Allan Coe and Tanya Tucker are both great, their versions are very different. I wouldn't say one is better than the other.

Tanya is clearly a better vocalist, but DAC has a much larger variety of styles. He can do country, rock, and blues really well. And his lyrics cover almost evey subject you can think of. He'd probably be as big a Willie or Merle, if he wasn't an ex-con and a criminal. You can't really compare them. That'd be like comparing Hank Sr to Patsy. They're too different.
