cool. i made my first one and it works really well. i do origami as a hobby, so this wasnt too difficult for me. once i had made my first one, i made another one out of A3 paper, but once i had made it and was ready for soaking it, i had nothing that big and round to put it in, so i used a glass. it worked just as well. and is quite hard to pull and sooo springy its unbelievable !

Re 6:21

For the central diamond, do the following: fold the paper in half horizontally, and again vertically. You now have a square with four layers of paper. Take the closed corner (the center of the unfolded square) and fold it diagonally, so that it meets the next grid point. If the diamond should be mountain folds throughout, undfold everything again and pinch along the creases you just created. This should be an easier method for most people.

I was folding another flasher just for fun, and thought that I could do exactly what you said above... and that worked perfectly! If I would've known, I would've definitely shown that in my video.
