I think this is Original xbox wireless adapter, because the 360 one is white and a lot smaller.

yo i hav the g adapter but my only g adaptorconnection is at my neighbours i use my psp to get on the internet with his connection do u think my g adapter could connect to my neighbours wireless connection

i use my psp and connect to a fair signal. about 50%. but 50% lags on xbox live, so i bougth a 50 foot ethernet cable and road it around my house to the edge and now i have perfect signal. so it depends on the signal.

hi again... sorry for all of the questions, i have 3 more though, sorry, 1. does your ADAPTER have to be 10 feet away from the router? 2. how long is the ethernet cord in the box that you got? 3. can i buy a more lengthier ethernet cord than the one in the box so my adapter will be able to pick up the routers signal?

1. 10 feet away should give you a perfect signal. 2.its like 3-5 feet or something. 3. and yes you can, i have a 50 foot ethernet cable i bought of the internet connected to it, so that i can bring the adapter closer to my router yet still play in my room.

you just have to be near a Wireless Modem/Router for the Adapter to pick up the signal, it should pick it up 10 feet away.
