I liked this performance. I could see and hear the relationship between the Cubes and the sounds. Very nice!
I think the next step might be to juggle the Cubes while performing? (Sorry, I couldn't resist saying that.)
I also like the kinds of sounds you are using in this one. I like ambient more than beat-driven, and the Cubes, lighting, and your gestures seemed more interconnected in this video. The physical, visual and aural interplay was more apparent and artistic.
Good usage of the Cubes. I once saw them at NAMM - they are midi controllers of the laptop in this case?
You look a bit like "Alan" from Tron in this video. ;-)

@VJFranzK Yes, they use middelware (free from percussa dot com) to then send MIDI notes and CC controller info to your DAW - Ableton Live in my case.

@VJFranzK Nice. I don't mind looking like "Alan" from Tron. Can't wait for the new film.

great performance. and great song too!
the colorchanging cubes look so nice,
so you mapped different pitch to the sides of the cubes, and distance to sensor is velocity ?

Hi @dburns,
Thanks for watching and commenting. Glad the connection between gesture and audio translated well on video. Juggling - hey that's an idea - LOL!
