  • Good usage of the Cubes. I once saw them at NAMM - they are midi controllers of the laptop in this case?

You look a bit like "Alan" from Tron in this video. ;-)

  • @VJFranzK Yes, they use middelware (free from percussa dot com) to then send MIDI notes and CC controller info to your DAW - Ableton Live in my case.

  • @VJFranzK Nice. I don't mind looking like "Alan" from Tron. Can't wait for the new film.

  • Great performance

  • great performance. and great song too!

the colorchanging cubes look so nice,

so you mapped different pitch to the sides of the cubes, and distance to sensor is velocity ?

    nice work man :)

  • I liked this performance. I could see and hear the relationship between the Cubes and the sounds. Very nice!

I think the next step might be to juggle the Cubes while performing? (Sorry, I couldn't resist saying that.)

I also like the kinds of sounds you are using in this one. I like ambient more than beat-driven, and the Cubes, lighting, and your gestures seemed more interconnected in this video. The physical, visual and aural interplay was more apparent and artistic.

  • Hi @dburns,

Thanks for watching and commenting. Glad the connection between gesture and audio translated well on video. Juggling - hey that's an idea - LOL!

    Mark

    Juggl

  • Excellent!!! Very good performance!!!

  • Thanks @Solaris1992
