Well, first off, it just depends how you do your layers on the upper half of your hair, or in other words, towards the top of your head. It be easier if your hair was short, but you can do it either way long or short. Just have to make sure your hair is thick enough for doing a lot of layers and making good cat ears on top of that.

As ridiculous and immiture as this comment sounds, I'll be obliged to answer. This hairstyle was replicated from an ANIME. not whatever your stereotyping. It's not even a hairstyle, Pretend it's a wig. nothing more. I only just cut it the way it was portrayed in the Tv Show. So to answer your question, people just like the hairstyle, I don't know why, but not everybody is going to like everything you like, It's going to happen in everyday life, so stop questioning & get over it.
