@KitchenDip ha dude i'm not even using my memory here, i listened to both tracks and a the tune of "The Final View" is used in this track. not hating on SoulChef, i love em, but just saying it's remarkably similar. listen for yourself
"(0:40) out of the boondocks, I ELEVATE to elevate minds while the streets steady devastate, crimes at this all-time high, fuck yo pie chart number, rest where the city slumber, hold breath and let the committee wonder if you can make it home for supper, hidin in the open dumpster...'hey cracklady, who you talkin to? there's no one there, oh i get you're talkin' to the air, hey cracklady wil you breed a crackbaby, have you been inside the shelter lately..." my favorite line in the song DEEP!
After a 10+ yr. hip hop addiction, just when I think this art can't get any better I find this. This whole album is incredible... one of the best I've ever heard.
@420420420387 haha can't disagree with that. every song i've heard on this album has been sick. can't believe the whole album is free to download. Thank you very much SOUL CHEF and the artists for this free album. great music wil never die!
The Nujabes track in question is actually a tribute track by Witness called The Last Samba in the Hope Springs Eternal: A Tribute To Nujabes album.

recognize. track used "The Final View" by Nujabes
petrie1230 7 months ago
@petrie1230 Nope! Although respect due, SoulChef would never do that to a Nujabes track. Guess again.
