  • this car is a joke cost way too much over 5 years ranges

  • The proportions of this concept are amazing, but it looks like they stuck it to a Camaro with their design team haha....

  • Factor in Fuel Efficiency, Safety, Visibility, Cost Effectiveness, Battery Technology, Et Cetera times 9, and Wallah, you get a slightly more stylish, and an American, Prius.....Dont get me wrong, Id still buy one given the chance, and you all should to.

  • thats smart i dont drive 30 miles a day and if i do i wouldnt mind putting 30 buck in and drive acroos the state

  • lol i wish that they had left the car the exact same way it is in this video </3 :'(

  • Gotta love the huge "HUMMER" sign in the background.

  • Too bad the production volt doesn't look like this.

  • @danno562 yeah they ALWAYS water down the production versions. I guess they must think we just couldn't handle that much futuristic living :)

  • I still say, call it the EV2, drive em right off the assembly line and straight to the crusher, save some time.

  • indoctrination?

  • Very impressive car

  • Designed by a Nigerian...:D

  • Just a poor excuse for the EV1.

  • is there 2 looks of this? cuz i saw a hatchback, and now this one, im so confused! please write back :) btw, great car, and im gonna get one

  • Yes chevrolet make people think you care about the enviroment. Little do people know that you can still buy high emiision carburated high performance engines from GM. Also if you stik a gas genarator it the trunk couldnt it be a redneck hyrid so to speak

  • This car I´ll hope and which it comes to Sweden too, I´ll want one! USA will make electric cars but sweden will only make combustion yet. If this car comes to Sweden, all combustion cars get out! Please Chevrolet Volt! Come to Sweden too!

  • I drove this for a few miles in New York City. Very quiet and advanced. The Volt is part of my 10 year plan to wean my family off of oil as much as possible.

  • The concept version looked so much better, I was wondering why I didnt remember chevy comming out with a prius look alike when I went to the 2009 North American International Auto Show in Detroit, I remember this one, it looked more like a comaro when they first started planning it, although I do like the interior on the new style better

  • @Mbush0904

Check out the Opel Flextreme GT/E Concept- it's going to be the basis for the successor of the volt. Looks much better imho.

  • I liked the way the concept looked, the actual one doesn't look as cool :\

  • i'd buy it.

  • @DroidNoid I know what you mean had a family GM car as well (Opel Vectra) it was quite new at the time....

And we where at the service center at least once a moth after a half year half of the plastic interior just broke into tiny pieces due to sunlight!

where did they expect the car to be driven?! in Gotham City?

I'l, never going to buy a GM product in my life anymiore.

Now I have 15 year old BMW and I have less problems (actually none mention worthy) with it then with a new opel.

  • The volt is a hoax and a scam. GM conspired with its oil-company masters in the 1930'-50 to destroy electric-mass transit in North America. Then in the 1990's GM once again teamed up with there old partners at standard oil-sorry chevron, to bury the superior NiMH battery system. The US government should have let GM die when they had the chance. Instead, the chose to keep the most corrupt and backward company in modern times alive. What a mis-take...

  • FULL ELECTRIC 273 lb-ft of TORQUE IN THAT THING, IF GM APPLYS THE SAME CONCEPT TO THERE TRUCKS IT WOULD BE INSANE, IT WOULD BE SO POWERFULL IT COULD PULL A HOUSE. JUST USE A SUBWAY TRAIN MOTOR WITH THERE EXISTING DIESEL TO GEN POWER FOR IT,

  • WHERE IS THE FRONT VIEW? You won't show the front view? BECAUSE IT'S UGLY! except for the BUTT!

  • Nope, F&^K OFF GM, Bring back the EV1, A%^HOLES

  • I thought I remembered hearing that this car was going to be on the market by 2010? Am I missing something here? I haven't seen any of these on the street. Did I miss their introduction? Are they on the street? If not, when they are on the market, will the public be able to buy them in mass, or will they be leased out to a sellect few, then be ripped out of their hands later on when the lease runs out? Is this another eco friendly carrot being dangled in front of everybody's eyes alaEV1?

  • If it didn't have the GM name I'd be all over this, even at 40,000+, but to me GM is synonymous with failure.

  • @sh3ikXI Why is that?

  • @mooserman911 back when they were publicly traded their original share holders ended up with nothing and that cuppled with their gov. loan (they borrowed way too much) and to me its hard to see anything good about the GM name. Oh Yeah their offering preferred stock to any1 pretty soon, but that turns back into common stock in 2-3 years. So if your a long term investor theirs no point.

  • @sh3ikXI GM is not only a Stock that you can buy...

  • What's with the Volt's body style that's yelling and screaming for attention? It will just blend in with all the other obnoxious SUVs in the parking lot.

If GM wants to get radical, go the totally opposite direction and bring back the 1st gen Chevy II body! Hide the EV-1's batteries and drivetrain underneath and price it cheap (because the Chevy II would be easy to manufacture).

In a sea of minivans and SUV's, a Chevy II redux electric would be a cult car because it is not like all the others.

  • like the rest of goverment motors junk, its a waist of money

  • @ts0yep And you think that ford didn't get a bailout? Oh they did alright. a $23 billion dollar one. idiots...

  • 40 Miles on coal power.

  • this car is not electric is just an overpriced hybrid toyota yaris

  • Wait a minute. It doesn't have a BATTERY??? So what you need is a 40 mile long extension cord?

  • 40 miles!?!? The EV-1 went 70 on a single charge and never needed gas at all? This is ridiculous. Bad ass looking car, and that's it.

  • @doosierty The sad thing is, that is the concept car - the production vehicle looks just like the f''n prious......

  • @MetalDetroit sad indeed.

  • @doosierty I got to drive the EV-1 when it was on display at Disney World in 1997! That car was ready for production and was built entirely with existing proven technology. Lead acid batteries sent DC power to a 3-phase variable frequency inverter and then to a 3-ph AC motor. All off the shelf and a 70 mile range was doable on flat Florida roads.

The Chevy Volt is a sorry excuse for what could have been achieved by now, had the EV-1 gone into production in the late 90's.

  • @InfiniteMushroom Thank you! That's what I am saying!

  • @doosierty agree they had the ev 1 great and canceled it i know it was some oil companies givin them money for gas cars thats the only reason now they come all hypocrat with a fuckn hybrid lol saying is an electric

  • Manoman0@ fuck you bitxh hating on gm if you don't like it why you bother looking at the video? Probly cuz u don't got a job and lives with your family and can't afford this car hahah looser in life!!

  • Can you afford to keep this in you!

  • I think this car is a waste of time

  • Nissan Leaf

  • Fuck, GM IS absolutely fitted for the Future! A viable concept. Finally. In comparison, the PRIUS is old fashioned. Only a pity they didn't keep the exterior design for the production model.

  • @manoman0 i know it went from looking like a relative to some of the modern muscle cars to a mother fudging family sedan model. That sucks magor anusss!

  • @Geylgamesh - I just compared the Concept with what will finally roll out. Damn, it S-U-C-K-S. But hey, when you sit in it, you can't see the outside anyway. LOL

  • @manoman0 I know lol, but I just wish they didn't change the outisde so much.

  • @Geylgamesh - well, has a lot to do with selling it. too fancy, and it won't sell. that's a sad truth..

  • @manoman0 Yeah, I guess your right.

  • 40 mile range for daily use is appropriate for over 85% of all Americans. After that the gas generator kicks in and powers the electric motor at an efficiency of around 50 MPG, so even if you never charged it, it would be performing at the level of the best hybrids out there. This is a great step in the right direction and offers a single car that can operate emissions-free most of the time, and at high fuel efficiency for longer trips. Way to go Chevy!

  • Too bad the production version looks totally like a lame family sedan

  • this is unacceptable in regards to where they should be in regards to the electric cars. Gm has a long way to go if they ever want to return to being one of the top automakers

  • there is one thing that i find to be a little skeptical in regards to the volt and its hype. It talks about only being able to cover 40 miles on electricity alone; this is less than what the first electric cars like the EV1 and S10 EV. they could cover 60 miles give or take. the thing is that they have batteries that can cope with the higher mile distances, but they aren't installed. i'm not trying to put down chevrolet's work-in-progress but at the same time they need to step it up

  • @rockandrolltrain5, no, it has the best batteries for range and they had to use a small one to reduce cost and weight. The target was 40 miles because that is all most people need when you have a generator on board. 40 miles is actually generous if you look at scientific studies that show a 7 mile battery is actually best in terms of ROI.

  • I'm very impressed with this car but i can't find the stats on it anywhere. it seems like they could tell us what the gas mileage would be if you never plugged it in. and what's the 0-60 or top speed? I'd also like to know what kind of electric bill increase your looking at if you always plug it in and never dive it to the point where your using the gas generator.

  • @DoobieDude56, gm-volt (dot) com has all the info on the Volt you need.

  • :( the actual model is too different from this body =/

  • looks way cooler than then one thay have out

  • I thought GM had thrown in the towel with this car . . . . with gov't money, they should be able to last a year or so longer. Obama took care of their unsustainable retirement plan, so they could keep producing non competitive cars.

  • this is my top pick after the leaf, focus, or coda....

  • Amazing car. Too bad they took this completely beautiful and exciting vehicle and turned it into a bland commercial vehicle with little more appeal the ugly Prius.

  • I Love this car,The EV1 didn't have a motor to re charge it.

For sure I will get one .40 a charge PLEASE

  • GM & Chevron screwed us all by Killing the EV1 and the NiMH battery in 2000.

If GM does sell a Hybrid car in 2011 screw them, buy from somebody else, Honda, Toyota or Nissan

  • for those who dont realize why an electric car just wont happen in the US. The government and large oil corporations make trillions a year in the sale and taxation of fuel. They have the power to stop it, and are graciously using said power.

  • @LemUUU, I think these electrics and hybrids are expensive to produce. Americans don't tend to like this kind of care either. I own a 2009 Prius and is feels like a cheap car because of weight reduction (I guess). It is a good car, though. Another problem with all electric, is that you can't use it as a traveling car. Many people don't have the money to own a limited use vehicle like this.

  • this should have come out 10 years ago.

  • this was out about 6 years ago but gm didnt see the whole "electric car" thing and destroyed about 3000 cars that could go 350 miles on a single charge. now fucking gay toyota has the spot..

  • @storsy You don't know what you are talking about. The EV1 was an all electric model and it was back in the 1990's. At that time Lithium-Ion Technology wasn't available for the battery. The Nickle Metal Hydride Battery wouldn't give you 100K miles like the battery for the volt. They didn't produce 3000 cars only a few hundred and they couldn't put the EV1 into production because it wouldn't pass Dept of Transportation Crash Tests.

  • @chicagoelectricbicyc It did. They crushed them all.

  • @chicagoelectricbicyc It actually came out 13 years a go it was called the EV1. GM destroyed almost all of them. The difference was the EV1 had a longer range and was totally electric.

  • I´ll which it too man! :-)

  • MORE GM FAIL

  • those are some skinny ass tires lol. Pretty cool car design tho, but im not a big fan of electric cars.

  • Yes, it's a beautiful car, we don't care how "big the battery" has to be, I'd get a uhaul hitch on it and tow a trailer with the batteries in it to get around for 1/5 the cost of a gallon of gas. But for real, GM won't sell this car, because the govnt. will stop it, or GM will make up some other excuse. Blah, Blah, Etc. "no", you say, then look at Europe's new Flextreme GT/E USING NONE other than the chevy volt drivetrain and ask yourself why we can't get a GOOD LOOKING HYBRID in the US.

  • @duaneafields ah tesla? thats a pretty good looking car? but you are right oil companies are making trillions a year they will do their best to kill this.

  • why would the govt stop it?

they are all for being green, and even if they thought about stopping it they would have done it already

  • Why do I have a feeling they will never release this car? Could it be they did it before with the EV 1 and then took them all away from leasers who still wanted them (and were willing to pay for them) and crushed them all. I'm rather pissed off they're trying to act like this is a new idea.

    Took the bastards long enough.

  • Late 2010 it'll be released, I got this Chevy booklet in the mail..

  • They won't release this car, they're releasing a Civic with a Chevy emblem instead. Chevy would prefer to not sell cars, and as a result, they made the car ugly. Take a look at the production version, it's basically an uglier civic.

  • hey the backround sound is very cool.can anybody tell me what song that is or what instrumental?

  • I wish GM would get this car out to the public sooner so we can keep the oil barons at bay.

  • The Chevy Volt is a good idea that is ahead of it's time. Gasoline is still too cheap to make a combo-electric/gas car financially feasible. The Eco-Boost engines from Ford will likely be more popular. Commuter-only electrics will also likely be more popular than the more versatile Volt as well simply due to cost.

  • malarky. Agreed its a great idea but diesel electric trains have been around for 25 plus years. Why the heck hasn't this been available for at least 15 years? Its about time.

  • 3 years later still not out. super.

  • do you design and build cars? then you should just STFU!!

  • what a watse of time and money , electric is not the future

  • Picture this, you just left a club with a lady friend, you can choose between your BMW, Mercedes, Lexus, Acura, Infinity gas massive carbon footprint, or the eco friendly plastic Chevy Volt. Which car do you think she wants to be put in?

  • thats easy i ll pick the chevy lol

  • So after millions of manhours and probably billions of dollars they managed to produce a car that still.. burns fossil fuels. Unless you want to go on that spontaneous 40 mile road trip cross country and then pull over and have some coffee for 6h. Great job GM, thumbs up.

  • You seem to be missing the point, almost every person drives 40 or less than 40 miles daily. daily driving is what wastes the most gas, and attacking this issue by only using electricity for those 40 miles, gas is hardly ever used UNLESS you travel on a long trip or commute more than 40 miles which is rare, in which still little gas is wasted because it is so fuel efficient.

  • @jpap967 millions of people commute at least 40 miles one way for work everyday and those people need a car which can get them there and then some (in case of emergency, detour, delays). 40 miles for those people is crap. If you can give more electric power, which they can, then you might as well. Why should there be a cap of 40 miles on a single charge when you can do more and have gas too.

  • @doosierty @InfiniteMushroom And if you think it's so easy to do so then go ahead and do it yourself. Then win a noble prize. Because an average joe like you can out think an entire research and development department funded by millions of dollars and lead by thousands of engineers.

  • @jpap967 You put way too much faith in R&D. In the final equation, the bean counters and corporate politicians decide what goes into production. Not the engineers.

May I present the Chevy Vega, Corvair, Ford Pinto, Dodge Aspen, Pontiac Aztek, Cadillac's V8-6-4 engine, Cimarron, etc. as prime examples of many, where millions were spent in development and marketing hype.

You have MUCH to learn about Corporate America. PLEASE read John DeLorean's book, "On A Clear Day You Can See General Motors"

  • @jpap967 Well you are right... but these companies also have hidden agendas... just like before. I can guarantee you that Big Oil's perspective on keeping their interests taken care of and incomes steady has not changed. I wouldn't be able to do it but many people have made their own and they are better than this.

  • @jpap967 no bitch your the one missin the point th point is that piece of shit is not electric even the old gmc ev1 20 years ago was more electric than this crap they canceled it and came back with this shit fuck gm its sad but a japanesse company started this revolution of electric vehicles since us ar crap ass for oil

  • @bonds911 You are fucken retarded this a electric vehicle have you even listen to this video at all. The Volt is the furure for you fucken tree huggers. Also if you knew your fucken history moron GM designed and built and patent the Hybrid technology back in the 70's but people didn't want that shit then. They just let the patent expire becaues hybrids are slow little pussy cars.

  • @j513mad ill say more like the oil companies saw enemies in the ev1 and persuaded gm to retreat cuz people loved it since i know it was on the news many people protesting so fuck you and fuck your sorry ass gmc sad but japan made the legendary move with the leaf i hope ford electric focus does honest cuz gmc fucked up like always always gas before gas now volt has engine leaf only electric motor

  • @bonds911 fuck you , you tree huggen hippy faggot!!! How many miles do you drive and what does your little pansy ass drive? A Prius? Yeah FUCK you. This will be more fuel efficient then any hybrid out there, and so what a Leaf has an electric only engine. It can only travel like what 20 miles between electric fill ups, I honestly couldn't care less about that slow ugly fucking POS. Dude you are a fag shut the fuck up and GO BIG OIL. I'm buying a Hummer now you FUCKTARD.

  • @j513mad you cant afford a hummer and gas no wonder why gmc shitty summer declined about 90 what percent yeah the leaf it aint 10 miles again its 100 miles is not the same your piece of shitty volt cant keep with this fuckn electric game it doesn even know with its name volt but uses gas your one of those dumb broken ass that suppport the ritches fuck you your really dumb i hope you get hit on the head and open your eyes volt is hybrid hybrid means to things combined gas n electric = volt fu pos

  • @bonds911 Fuck you sissy faggot cocksucker. Go Volt and GM fuck Nissan and the pussy Leaf. Ugly slow and with a VERY limited range. You are a Cocksucker and I am definetly getting a Humvee now. YOU FUCKEN HOMO!!!

    That or a Hemi!!!

  • @jpap967 nigga noooouu the only american companie putting the face is ford gmc is a fuckn shame they say shit ridicoulous shit about the volt the leaf does twice the range in electric volt is a piece of overpriced prius and comes like 5 years after the prius they call it technology ahaha laugh cuz its all about nissan leaf ford electric mitusubishi miev by the way i won a mitsubishi lol united stats cars break down too much and the tesla luxurious electric gmc is at the bottom of the list lol

  • @bonds911 ok you racist little mofo talkin in bad engliss. Learn to spell right and how to stop being stupid. The volt is like no oter vehicle out there. The prius is not like the volt at all and the leaf is an electric joke. the price that the leaf comes with extra is the cost of a second car to go over 100 miles.

  • @jpap967 It's not fuel efficient it uses 6,8 liters/100 km my 15 year old BMW has a lower consuption then that.

  • I wouldn't say almost every person. I would rather say the Majority. I myself drive 50 miles a day from school to work and then home. That is not calculating stops here and there to eat or shop.

  • @heartlessvietboy 82% of Americans drive 40 miles or less daily, the average being 27 miles per day. Thats a pretty big majority. And again, for the other 10% that drive 40-60 miles per day will spend less than a gallon of gas per day as this car gets 40+ mpg while using gas.

  • I still wouldn't want to say "almost" every person. Almost would be something in the range of 90%. Lets a good majority.

  • @heartlessvietboy Still, 82% never using gas and only 10% using up to only one gallon a day. If everyone owned a volt (not saying that everyone should) it would make a drastic change.

  • You are right. 82% is a great number. The Chevy Volt would definitely cause drastic changes to the oil and gasoline business, but that doesn't necessarily mean the price of gasoline will drop. If the Oil Company or the refinery business doesn't know that 25% of the population owns a Chevrolet Volt, do you think gasoline prices will drop?

  • @heartlessvietboy True, I'm speaking from a scientific and statistical point of view, not a political one because I'm sure not only the price of gasoline would sharply rise if everyone owned a volt or mainly electric car, but so would the cost of electricity. Again we have to think about how electrical energy is generated: powerplants that burn natural gas and coal, kinda defeats the purpose if more coal and natural gas is burned to generate more electrical energy. Clean energy = hydrogen/elec.

  • My argument is this. I don't know if more coal or natural gas will be burned. I assume that electricity plants already have enough electrcity to power 1 million vehicles. Meaning the supposed grid can right now provide electricity for 1 million cars without burning much more coal or natural gas. But why would we have 1 million extra watts of electricity inside the turbine? Wouldn't that pollute more?

We need to stop taking Geo Thermal energy, Natural Gas and Oil from Underground.

  • you are what i call a "hater" who probly owns a honda and uses gas in it! oh noo

  • oh and i almost forgot...this thing is uglier oprah winfrey

  • fuck GM! garbage motors. worst customer service next to ford and chrysler. lets see what happens to gas prices when these cars hit the road. ill never let go of my m3 for some shit electric car. they're going to pull this one just like they did the first electric car they produced.

  • wow ur tough what r yu 11

  • ur probably a asain pussy and does it matter if i take crack fucker

  • not even close rat boy. im greek and ill still whip yo ass like jackie chan motherfucker.

  • You're being a schnob about car companies but you have a fucking beamer wow. Have fun down the road when that piece of shit gives out.

  • honestly i cant wait till that happens. but unfortunately, the s54 inline 6 just wont quit. but if it does or i start to get excessive blow-by ill then just swap out blocks and install forged internals, and install boost as well. when has anyone heard of an inline 6 "giving out". check please!

  • fag

  • wow your tough LOL @ you, nut swinger

  • Thats my car bitches!!!

  • OMG what a sexy bull! I would love him between my thighs!

  • THAT'S NICE

  • I wanna get it! How much is it?

  • aournd 40 g's

  • around 40,000

  • Cant wait 'till it comes out. I might get it then!

  • Can you say OIL?

Young man: "That means 60,000 isn't very many vehicles..."

Bob Lutz: "No, I agree with you. I think its a conservative figure, but we need to let somebody screen some of our technology, and lets face it, the only ones who are going to be able to use it [ARE RICH]. "

Young man: "Are you still thinking mid 30's?"

Bob Lutz: "Naw, I think we're figuring just below 40..."

Starting minute 3:46 in this YouTube video. Listen to him

    youtube. com/watch?v=CfBZ0B2dAvA&featur e=related

  • can you say expensive as fuck?

  • It's only $40,000.

  • looks slick... i dig it

  • Tree huggers......

  • Aint nothin tree huggerish about not wanting smog. :\

  • Comment removed

  • to all you people who say that global warming is an imminent concern...it isn't. The ice caps melt, and have been melting for THOUSANDS OF YEARS. Its called the heating and cooling cycle. Also, America has nothing to do with this. We didn't start anything. It is a natural occurrence, and even if it wasn't, it still wouldn't be our fault. We don't have bad environmental standards. In the last 10 years, America has don't more than most countries to improve their environmental impact. get facts ass

  • Our economy and our products our driven by our people, not our government. Thats why we've polluted the world more than any other country. Because capitalism causes economies to expand at a faster pace. Thats why we 'were' so rich and on top for so long. And weve became too comfortable. But don't worry; the beauty of capitalism is that when our competition becomes weak we loose our jobs because theyre not held in place by some fucking bureaucracy.

  • It sad to think GM killed the EV1. They could have owned the roads by now... but nooooo instead they invest in hummer. big mistake

  • Investing in hummers was a good idea--look how many hummers are on the road! Maybe they should have kept their options open though.

  • What a sh*t car!

For electric cars to work you really need to reduce the weight of the entire car & three door, two seaters is the way to go.

Most autos on the roads (try taking a f*cking look sometime!) have ONE person in them 95% of the time.

Reducing the bodywork to a rigid strong frame + plastic body panels, like the Smart ForTwo, is the way to go. Have those gimps at Chevvy learned NOTHING?

America, your auto industry is dead.

Buy some Japanese, Chinese or French cars & stfu already!

  • what a joke

they dont make a battery for it yet?

    40 miles on a charge

    whos going work on it?

    gm dealer

  • I wish they had stuck with this body style. It looks a lot cooler than the generic family sedan style they went with. =\

  • Let me start by saying YES it is a great thing that US auto makers are trying to come up with vehicles that use less or no gasoline and we should continue to pursue them.

HOWEVER, everyone must consider all the costs involved with making these "environmentally friendly" vehicles.

Consider there is still a lot of energy used in the making of these cars. Also consider that the batteries need to be recharged and the energy from that comes from power plants many of them run by fossil fuels.

  • exactly. There is something that everyone should know as well. This whole we are the cause of global warming is bullshit. The earths climate changes after a couple thousand year or so. Co2 is not a greenhouse gas.

  • EpiDemic117,

I absolutely agree with you on the global warming hoax. I am so tired of the environmentalists getting there way on the issue. It is time that those of us who see what these strict environmental regulations do stand up for jobs and the economy. Let's not forget the middle and lower class too. Everytime there is a tax based on "global warming" or "climate change" or whatever they feel like calling it, it ends up hurting poorer families the most.

  • Exactly! Economy comes first. The environment has been here longer than us and has gone through many other changes in the past. Al gore is a fucking moron and the scientist who told him about Co2 being a greenhouse gas actually had to recall his theory. What pisses me off even more is that they are still teaching this bullshit in public schools and colleges. I want to PM you this awesome article that explains everything about it and how fucking stupid the media is (partly)

  • stfu and do some research moron!

    The icecaps are melting.

No factor other than CO2 increases are to blame for this. We have seen a period of LOWER volcanic activity and lower natural CO2 output.... so the CO2 *IS* a result of man's activity.

    Get a f*cking clue, chimp!

The usa was the major contributor to world CO2 until last year when China overtook you and the usa's economy died.

YOU are to blame for this... we should f*cking nuke you for what you american trash have done to our planet!

  • You shut the fuck up you little tool. I can't believe that utter shit that people are buying into because of that slob Al Gore. Guess what. That Asshole doesn't even conserve for shit. You should see his house. Lastly. Fuck you! I am not the blame for shit for an even that doesn't even exist for blame by humans. So eat shit you fucking hippie.

  • If you think Al Gore has anything to do with this, then you're stupid as well as misinformed.

BRITISH & EUROPEAN scientists were identifying global climate change back in the late 1990 while Al was still asleep!

PULL your large american head OUT of your puckered 'speaking hole' & try to read more & understand the accepted science & the facts... instead of ranting about some Donkey/Elephant issue!

There are only 250m americans on Earth & look at the f*cking mess you've made for ALL OF US!

  • What fucking mess? You accuse me of being a moron. But apparently you are only the greater of an idiot and a horses ass. We didn't cause shit. Global warming is still just a theory that the media commonly accepts while blabbing their fucking mouths on about it in the news and how billions are wasted to counter something that still hasn't been fully proved.I love how they try to make people live in fear. Shitheads. You are a tool.

  • Comment removed

  • As always, your arguments are well reasoned and packed full of rock solid facts. I am confident that you and all who understand the detrimental effects of CO2 emissions to the environment will take the responsible path by never exhaling again. The inhabitants of Earth will be forever in your debt.

  • Thank you, american trash.

I am looking forward to the demise of your economy so that you, and scum like you, cannot Earthrape any more.

It's good to see the CO2 graphs which show dramatic rises from the 1940s onward.

I guess you put these FACTS down to the massive sunspots/volcanic activity/crustal spreading/alien activity/american head swelling/whatever that have occured post-WWII while ignoring the obvious spread of the gasoline auto whose graph matches it exactly. Funny that, hur?

  • Do yours; the last ice age was only 10,000 years ago when 98% of Canada was covered in glaciers almost 2 km thick; most of the UK would have also been subject to such extreme ice flows as well. The ice has been disappearing for MUCH longer than we were around.

What I find funny is all you clampets cry no ones doing anything; then when a company puts something forward you shat on it.

Have you looked at the Thames lately? That's not picture perfect "clean" lately either.

  • Acutally, dracheous dummy, the Thames is one of the cleanest river in Europe and has recently seen Salmon, Lampreys, Seals and Dolphins.

Or did you think in 'foggy London town', the pearly kings and queens swam in it while hailing a hansom cab?

You need to study harder or learn to read without moving your lips.

  • Actually epidemic is right, global warming is alot of bull shit. polar bears population is at its highest....there just doin this whole icecap thing to scare everyone and make money. the earth just naturally gets hot some times. did for the dinosaurs. and you cant blame americans for a WORLD problem. Your name calling doesnt make your statement ligitimate. uu soo ignant

  • This is a great reason why we should stop looking at youtube comments. You could have had a rational, informed discussion, but in the spirit of idiocy you curse at someone over the internet and threaten them with nuclear annihalation.

Maybe you should rexamine who is the chimp between the two of you.

  • Haha, good comment with good humor (Nuclear Annihilation)

  • uhh...do you know anything...the earth goes through natural heating and cooling cycles. In the last 10 years, the earths average temperature has COOLED DOWN. The ice caps aren't a concern because they won't cause large displacement of water. If you have a glass of ice water and the ice melts, it won't overflow. Also, the #1 biggest greenhouse gas in the air is WATER VAPOR. Not CO2, NOT Methane, WATER. Also, America has done nothing wrong. No one did. It would have happened no matter what.
