Yougoslavia was the qualified team in the tournament ,not Denmark ; but the WAR started in the Balkans in that time in the EX-Yougoslavia made UEFA to exclude the big team of Yougoslavia (remember the striker Darko Pancev?) and replace with Denmark (the 2nd position in the group stage after Yougoslavia in the preliminaries Euro 1992)... the rest is History ;coming from the sunset beaches in hollidays...denmark players played beautiful to win Euro Cup...that's DESTINY !!!

i was still in primary school in mauritius but i used to stay up at night to watch the euro. i watched all the denmarks game somehow cos i knew schmeichel was the manu keeper. i remember my uncle came from canada and he watched the final at my place and i told him denmark was gonna win. since then he always talk football with me.

It's a matter of spirit, and football teams such as Denmark have it. No matter how big the opponent is, he knows that Denmark could still be the winner in the end.

Before that we had 1 partition in Euro 1980 with only one draw and 1 goal and 1 partition in WC 1994 with zero goals and points.I don't think Denmark was at the same level as a team.In 1992 you already had 3 partition in Euro's with good results and a partition in WC 1986 with good results also.Plus the football in 1992 was different than the football in 2004.
