  • The bike is nice but I'm not thrilled with the paint job. It's really "Busy". Kind of makes me dizzy. .... I do like the fat rear tire though. .... Enjoy!

  • I am both a Harley-Davidson & Victory Rider. I love both of my bikes! The '03 Ultra Classic is a strong runner. I've ridden 1500 miles in 23 hrs 38 min, as per Iron Butt Association verification. But I love my Victory Highball. I have never been so captivated by a bike, as I have been by the Highball. It is a real screamer. Go to RTStrongDog videos for a comparison of the exhaust and more. I moved mountains to get the Highball, and I'm damn glad I did!

  • that's beautiful, I just love how the paint job, the exhaust pipes and just about everything else, flows.

  • Awesome bike :) I was just wondering how long you were riding for when you got this one. I was thinking of getting a warrior almost the same size but Ive only been riding about 5 monthes now so I got a 750. I was also wondering if with so much power its harder to control?

  • @JamesMQuevedo - It's heavier, and has way more power. So much low end torque - a little goose on the throttle has you hanging on for dear life! Biggest challenge is the fat rear tire - cornering is harder. I started on a 650 for 1 year, went to an 1100 for 1 year, then got the 1,731 Jackpot. Definitely not a beginner's bike. But the Warrior doesn't have the fat rear tire so shouldn't be as challenging. I'd ride a few thousand miles then move up. You'll know when you're ready.

  • @Drino1969 dude the warrior has a 200 tire, r1 suspension and would smoke any harley or victory, best thing is its half the price!!

  • @CARFRL35 Dude, I'm not a dude.... secondly - the Ness Jackpot has a 250 mm rear tire, stage 2 cams, 98 horsepower, 1,731 cc / 106 cubic inch engine, and is unparalleled for pure spectator draw. But to each his or her own - you get what you pay for. Diversity in motorcycles is nice. Enjoy your ride.

  • Please gimme a holler if you ever decide to sell this bike. Is the FJ Cruiser yours as well that I saw in the vid? I have one of those.

  • I bought this same bike 2 weeks ago and love it! I also changed pipes to Victory Swept and had remapped. I totally agree with you about the turn signals/plastic frame. And constantly get compliments every where! I have #151, was a left over on buddies showroom floor. I'm going to move it in my house for the winter!LOL

  • Oops, sorry. I meant Aussie. No offense.

  • @MrJtr1888 LOL - none taken. Good luck on your 2011 8Ball. So good they've now got the 106 engine (never understood why the 8Balls, which are all blacked out and 'mean', had the 100 engine).

  • A British chick riding a Victory? Wow! You are smarter than most Yanks. Good job on not getting a HD. Saving for my 2011 Vegas 8-ball. Ride safe.

  • Love this victory. If there was one thing I wish victory would change it is their "red switch" on the handle bar. Don't you agree? I know polaris has them on their atv's and I wish they would make them black on the victory bikes.

  • @emptyaie - Black sure would be nice. My Yamahas also had the red kill switch, so I don't think it's just a Vic thing. But yeah, that red sure stands out. LOL

  • @emptyaie

"Love this victory. If there was one thing I wish victory would change it is their "red switch" on the handle bar. Don't you agree?"

Never seen a Vic up close but I read that up close some parts look cheap or Japanese-like or unrefined. I'm mystified as to why Vic's engineers don't get rid of those blatant warts. Another thing the pipes should come from the factory sounding like pipes made by Vance & Hines why doesn't VIc make it right? The bike does have a great solid foundation.

  • crazy looking bike.. great bike but that paintjob would drive me nuts after a few weeks

  • @mission100uk - You know, I don't even notice the bling or paintwork much now, until someone freaks out and screams at me across traffic. :-)

  • @Drino1969 haha! Dont get me wrong..its a verrrrrry nice paintjob. i guess if you get sick of it you can repaint it.. simple! have fun.. great vid!

  • @mission100uk The paint job is what I love the most about her Ness Jackpot (well besides the wheels). All the other paint jobs on the Jackpots are not as awesome as this, IMHO.

  • @thybigballs Dont get me wrong that is one sweet paintjob! ..bit loud for me but beautiful piece too look at.

  • where did you get the curved plate mount and the led turn signal lights from? thanks

  • @9secondsflat - They're from MBW (Google mbw motorcycle). I ordered them through my Vic dealer. A must-do mod IMO. :-) Getting the license plate IN the curved bracket is a pain though. I just added the front wrap-around LEDs and got rid of the 'giraffe ears'. MUCH better.

  • MARRY ME....a women who loves victorys.....

  • @9secondsflat - LOL I love them so much I'm doing the True American Road Trip for them. Hope you're enjoying your new Hammer - nice upgrades! The 250mm rear tire is the only way to go.... Rode a Hammer S a couple months ago - awesome ride.

  • hey drino

the bike is still looking sexy tribal and amazing no other bike on the market has the same bitchin "loook at me" and drop your jaw factor and we love to say we have one

    so cool

    please keep us updated

  • Did you have to go somewhere else to get the taillight mods or did they do them at the Victory shop?

  • @PunchRockGroin - the taill lights are MBW - my Victory dealer installed them for me and relocated the license frame in a new chrome curved mount off the axle (tricky to get it on there, so I didn't want to do it). I have new LED ring indicators on the front now - no more ugly orange indicators. :-)

  • Wow that is a nice bike, and looks wicked cool with the new mods. My next bike will be a Victory.

  • @wizardozzz - Victory bikes are the cutting edge in design, style and performance. Not to mention customer satisfaction and low cost of ownership. You won't be sorry with a Vic. If you want to stand out from the 'crowd', and want to ride rather than wait for repairs - a Victory is the way to go. What model are you thinking about?

  • So when you say beware of speed bumps, do you bottom out a lot now? And are you also saying that in order to out the lowering arm on it you need to have a different or cut belt housing AND move the wiring so the tire don't hit it? Or is getting that service done with the kit include those other modifications?

  • @MusicAndTechnology - Just watch your speed with those smaller speedbumps - I try to avoid them. Too fast, you will bottom out. :-) Lowering it changes the angle with the belt and the front cover needs to be changed out or it rubs. Wiring needs to be re-routed in case you bottom out over a speedbump LOL- The tire will tear the wiring out otherwise (very spendy repair). Of course you can't go 2-up either. All the mods in this video with labor were around $2500.

  • They're around 670lbs dry, but so well balanced that they feel light. Wait until you get yours and you're out riding. You'll never come home! Good luck with getting yours - you won't regret it!

  • Sweet bike!! I sat on one of these about a week ago, and was surprised how light it is for such a big bike. I'm hoping to have one by mid summer. Good luck with it.

  • G'day!

Mine is lowered with a kit - check out the rear & side you'll see the fender is lower than 'stock'. Cleans up the rear after replacing the indicators with LED. Front belt cover had to be replaced and rear fender removed and wiring relocated to the side. Handling is good (tho still stiff), center of gravity is lower but beware speed bumps!

License frame is MBW radius frame, about $400 and tricky to install (had the dealer do it).

About $2,500 for mods so far.

    Congrats on your Ness!

  • I have (video posted too, heh) that same bike and have couple questions....

You said you dropped it an inch and a half. Did you have some lowering kit done, or was it just adjusting the spring under the seat?

What kind of license plate holder is that? Looks nicer than some of the cheap ones I been seeing.

  • Sunday, forecast 53 high, no rain...I'll be out and about...just sayin' :D I'm very new to riding so if it's not raining I'm gone, I'm obsessed!!!! - in a good way.

  • Hey, I hear you! I'll be out too. Want to join in the reindeer games? :-) May be meeting up with another rider for a ride - you're welcome to come along! Loving this mild Jan weather!

  • hi drino

sweet rear turn signals and gotta love the slash pipes

so cool to see a chick with a ness

have you seen the LED front blinker slip ons ??

    cheers Ed

  • G'day Ed - Yes I sure have - they're sweet. They're next on my list to do - I think I have my hubby on board to do it for me - pulling the forks apart to put them on makes me nervous. Need a load equalizer too.

  • that is one HOT bike girl...good for you! perhaps I'll see you in the 'windy' county sometime soon :)

  • I hope to be doing a lot of trips - if I get out that way I'll look you up!

  • Ehh, I want cruiser too! But I'm still young and want more speed ;[ One day - I will have one :)

    Great bike!

  • LOL good for you! Speed you say? 1,731cc and around 100 hp. She's speedy - almost tears the paint off the tank. But she's no sportbike. Gotta have fun while you're young! Go for it!

  • whoa.....wow!

    Absolutely amazingly beautiful!

  • Thanks! She's a lot of fun. :-)

  • Yesss, your precioussssssss!!

    Beautiful.

  • Wow, it looks amazing!
