@OhhBiscuits I was told that they explained that by saying that particular fighting style was used by the zabrak warriors, and maul just modified his lightsaber so that he could incorperate it into his lightsaber style. since it's a zabrak style, it's only natural that savage would use it to.

Because sideos' lightning is a lit more powerful then dookus, this is proved when in the second episode, yoda easily stops dookus lightning, but in the thurd episode, when the palpatine reveals himself, he uses lightning at yoda, and yoda tried to stop it exaxtly like he had done with dooku, but instead goes flying back because of the difference in power between the two.

@nohomers100 Hey, I didn't make the rules but it seems like there is a sortof meter just like a video game, just like you and I have a meter n how far and fast we can run. A good example of my claim is when Ventress fought Anakin, and she force-pushed him a good few times, then the final time he just ran through it as it blasted some of his clothing off. Apparently the use of force varies with the user's mental and physical state.

@Fuzion That is true that we have a physical endurance level. but that's what is supposed to make the force so great, it transcends the physical. As yoda said in Empire, "luminous beings are we not this crude matter" The fact that this once metaphysical ability and concept now has some sort of concrete meter speaks volumes about everything that is wrong with star wars now. It used to be the force symbolized dedication, wisdom, belief in oneself now it is simply a matter of "unlocking" skills

@Fuzion I remember that anakin/ventress fight from the micro series right? If I remeber right, Anakin looked like he was bracing himself for it and did some kind of defensive move. He put his head down and his shoulder forward as if bracing for impact

@Fuzion I meant that dont you need the force to fight in a lightsaber battle. You use it to enhance your reflexes and to intuit your opponents moves. I would assume that grievious cybernetics allow him enhanced reflexes

The stupidest thing though was in the first episode of this when Ventress and the other chicks go to assassinate Dooku they use a dart that diminishes his force abilities. Why wouldnt they use a regular dart filled with poison that would kill him or how about just shooting him with a regular laser gun? That was so stupid

@nohomers100 - I had a simmilar thought when, in the movies, the assassin had a droid, cut out a hole in Padme's window, to slip in the snake-like thingy to kill her. Why not just have a droid that shoots? And simmilar things happen waaaaay too often in star wars for it to be just a one-time fluke. It's like someone said "Fuck logic, my way is cooler!"

After the first failed attempt for revenge, Mother Talzin contacted Dooku and offered to help him find a new apprentice. So Ventress tested the Nightbrothers in which Savage turned out to be the most powerful. The Nightsisters then brain washed Savage with magic so he would be secretly loyal to Ventress.......

One thing I love about this series is that it really demonstrates just how much more powerful Anakin (and Obi-Wan) have become by the time Revenge of the Sith rolls around. Throughout the Clone Wars, these three have usually either schooled him and Obi-Wan or fought evenly with them. By the time the war comes to an end, when Anakin gets into a rage like he does against Dooku (Drawing power from his anger but not being blinded by it), he rips right through people who were too challenging before.
