  • Thanks for posting this i really didn't want to try to use that rigid colodin stuff after reading how it hurts and stuff. :D

  • It looks great, but the lipstick is a fail. You used too much.

  • REALLY REALLY REALLY good job! He almost looked identical!

  • Will you do my make up for halloween??? im gonna be the joker! haha

  • Great Job Aeni!

  • Great Job Aeni!

  • The lips are WAY to thick. The look would have been perfect if the lips weren't so thick. Ugh.

  • Unfortunately, the Ben Nye Scar FX is no longer available online at any store around the world...easleys only has the Scar Wax from Ben Nye now. :-(

  • i actually think the scars look amazing. .. yea the paint is more perfect than sloppy but you know what you're doing. . . i actually used geletin to make a (movie musical style) phantom of the opera. . . some of your techniques came in handy *thumbs up*

  • Sorry - went to hit reply to someone here but no gelatin is flexible and doesn't crack. If you buy wax putty it will crack and just opens a whole new can of worms...

  • i noticed in my own experinced if you use the baby powder it faids the make up.

  • DEAM HE IS HOOOOT!

  • uhhh what the heck? this is supposed to look runny and unpolished...this looks like a fashion conscient joker

  • awesome job. i do Harley Quinn cosplay and have been looking for better face paint. so thanks for the tip on for ben nye! :]

  • can u use water jsut to make it look runny

  • Creme makeup isn't waterbased so it wouldn't really "run". It would degrade over the course of the night though.

  • Oh sigh...watch the first video if you didn't know this. If you have the money, buy a 2 part silicone to do this same process on your face.

  • haha nice this was helpful, (:

  • he is hot

  • was all pretty good, until the red lips went in! Less red coverage, and more subtle thickness. Tx for posting the video.

  • i just whant to know but why do you powder... im not saying its bad i just what to know why

  • mmmm...got it!

    joker = action

    action = swet

powder makeup + swet = messy makeup just like the joker

  • hey ure right =D

  • If you don't powder the makeup it gets excessively shiney and drippy from your body heat. You can powder and then spray with a fine mist of water if you'd like afterwards or forego the powder.

  • lol before you put the red on his lips he looked like a member of that band kiss lol

  • Hi,

What you use for powder gelatine?

  • To powder the gelatin or to make gelatin?

  • sweet

  • you could of just sprayed his hair, but i actually think its cool what you did, very nice on the scars, you even got the one below his lip

  • too much red

  • hm i think there too much red... but the rest is awesome!

  • nice

  • you're a great artist! that was awesome

  • the eyes were pretty good but the lips were a little over exaggerated and not the accurate on his right..should arc more with 3 bubbles at the end

  • the red is not that spread out.

  • exactly.

  • That is outstanding art, A+ on all of it.

  • hi pple o well this is mostly for adomme

um how do u like get the stuffs were do u buy em and waht type cuz waht happens if u allergic 2 some stuff waht do u do???? well nice vid @peace out@

  • I have not met anyone with an allergy to gelatin but have met and worked with those who are allergic to the creme/grease makeup. At that point you will have to forget about using the gelatin to build up and use only cake (water activated) makeup which Ben Nye also carries. The reason is b/c water degrades gelatin.

  • To buy these, you'll have to google for:

Ben Nye Scar FX gelatin 1oz (flesh or clear)

    Ben Nye neutral set powder

Ben Nye black, red, and white wheel

    Ben Nye final seal spray

    Metal spatula/palette knife

Ben Nye Lumiere powder (choose any green)

Ben Nye glycerine (2oz for short hair, 8oz for longer or repeat use)

  • Did you use a cream eyeshadow or dry (pressed or loose powder)?

  • I used Ben Nye's Red, Black, and White creme wheel. I then powdered with Ben Nye's neutral set powder.

  • Awesome, thank you!!

  • awesome job! two questions. what would the movie accurate lips be that you said youd do? and he just bought the clothes at target or the costume?

  • I saw the movie again tonight and realized that they were over exaggerated. So what I did was correct. Go crazy with your red.

The costume - Bree bought the last one that his Target had in September. I don't know where you'd be able to find it now though.

  • good job... and sexy model! sexy!

  • wow! thanks for putting that video up...it's going to help me with my joker makeup!

    AWESOME JOB!!! :D

  • where did u get the clothing for the joker like the suit?

  • He bought it in September at his local Target.

You might have a hard time finding it now though b/c it's such a popular character for Halloween. Thought about going as the police version or nurse?

  • That's really good ^^

  • Cool!

  • That was AWESOME!!!

Do you need to wait for the gel to dry before going over it with powder?

  • Yes it needs to be completely cool. It won't be hard, but it will be squishy. If you touch it and the gelatin pulls away with your finger, it's not time to powder - keep blowdrying on cool until it is set.

  • Great job! The model is perfect for this look.

  • Awesome Job Aeni!!! (Liz from modelmayhem) :)

  • handsome model
