  • nice stuff my man

  • dobro

  • I play in this delta style, but not as well as you! Lovely, lovely stuff.

  • If you like this you gotta see Bryan Warhall on youtube. He not only plays get down dirty slide but is also a great blues harp player. Just a tip for newbes...glass is better for electric and steel or brass is best for acoustic. Medium gauge strings are better than light.

  • OK open g

  • What key is this played in?

  • Love it

  • GREAT LESSON - ENJOY IT , STILL WORKING ON IT

CHK OUT SOME HOME MADE GUITARS - SHAMUS442009

  • @stringyheads no I think he does a great deal much guitar lessons are so slow they become boring and you dont want to learn the riff or song anymore this is great it goes just my tempo

  • Thats the real blues rigth there Daddy, Good ol Muddy style. Im tuned in G and stayin there with that guitar anyway. This is one shit hot slide lesson, I got it all i just got to clean it up a bit. Even rough around the edges is cool to.

  • Fantastic, Great lesson cheers

  • this one really looks like "walkin blues"... but there are many blues songs which tune looks like others, only lyrics changes! but whatever, you play really well :)

  • @gutterscum

the download is region free and playable on any computer

  • @daddystovepipe true, but some people like to have a physical dvd for collection or something you know?

  • Right on my brother..

Very helpful.. God bless your heart.. When I was starting out in the mid 70's all the good guitar players thought they had "GOLD" and did not want to share it.. I am happy to see that there are some who share the love and give freely.. Be cool... Newk444

  • Hey this is really good on half step down stuning on the acoustic guitar its like punk to blues to me ^_^.

  • where is the description box w/ the tab. can someone please direct me

  • in the right hand corner you'll see "more info", click on that

  • You can obviously play, and as a long time guitarist that shares you r love of music, I have just one constructive critisicm. Your playing stands on it's own, but possibly a more patient style of teaching would help you students. I gratefully thank you for sharing this, as I am new to the slide/ Delta blues, and I will be following all of your very helpful knowledge. Thanks again brother.

  • @ jsacks222 : those lessons were uploaded in the days of a 100mb max upload, hence the short time lessons

my latest lessons feature tablature (some free) and this makes explanation for the left hand not necessary anymore.

  • @jsacks222

Patient? Try the pause button and replay... Just a thought.

  • @anneonion - As I said, it was purely constructive criticism from an outside source. As a musician, I believe that you should understand that it takes awhile to get from the start to where you are, and I was simply trying to say that maybe a little more explanation would be in order. I seem to have offended you, my apologies, I'll move on to another. Thanks for sharing.

  • @jsacks222

Patient? Try the pause button and replay. It makes the lesson as repetitve and slow as you need it...

  • @anneonion

It's pretty fast paced, and the contrast between a loud guitar and not as loud voice makes my ears hurt after a while.

  • this stuff is way harder than it looks. the vibrato and tone are the most difficult to maintain.

  • im jus learning this tune this is the best slide tune i ever heard im playin it on a B its a little too low on the bass strings but im a noobie and am jus messin with diffrent tunings..i tend to tune the strings down and tune them to an open e shape is that the right idea? ..im scots so this is not in ma blood but i love this sound..it messes with ma soul

  • Thanks for the kind comment.

Tuning is DGDGBD, low to high

Your way of tuning, to a E chord, is called open E tuning and in not the tuning I use in this song

  • @daddystovepipe im trying the god of slide robert johnson do u play any that bro?travellin riverside blues id like to see that..

  • open g tuning

  • Good slide work. What's the tuning please?

  • what kind of guitar is that my friend?

  • A "Delta Resonator"; Louisiana model, made by John Alderson of the UK.
