Thats a reason. I cycle 31 km to work day by day (62km per day). I don't know a place over here, where you need freeway access to leave the house.

@geomandolyn - for me, local bike trails that are decent are about 30+ miles away and require freeway access. Sometimes, you just gotta carry the fun vehicle!
