  • SRV brakes the ass at all the "super speedy" guitarists like Steve Vai and company...

  • merci à un blogueur français ds un site de tchatche

  • SRV is the right handed jimi hendrix. Jimi was the left handed SRV.

  • stevie *.*

  • gotta love the poncho

  • God, this song is overproduced. It could really do without the horns.

It reminds me a little of The Who's ufortunate hard-on for synthesizers.

  • @polymath7 - ya, i never thought of that, good call - I guess that was the 80's studio sound - perhaps some sweet background harp' fills would have "dirty'd it down" a little...they'll probably come out with a "remixed tracks album" one day - that might be interesting: SRV guitar/vocals - new musicians added...just a thought - cheers'

  • I'M*.*TOTTALLY ADDICTED!!!

  • best blues guitar player ever given to us now he is doing the same but in heaven. always the best of the best SRV will live forever.

  • Take kanye west and put him in a toilet like he belongs. Please where have all the good musicians gone.

  • @MrWalksfar The producers, and record companies took over. Music isn't made for music's sake anymore. It's now made for the "all mighty" dollar.

  • i am stranded caught in the crossfire!!!!!! i love srv he's amazing to bad he's dead

  • amen to that man amen to that

  • I miss singers like this because this was music not just something you play loud and lots of bass and abcanc1415 all the talent is no more with bands like this and am glad at 14 you like music like this.

  • it makes u wonder where all the talent went. im 14 and i notice

  • @abcabc1415 Pick up a guitar and play, boy. You never know. YOU could turn out to be the talent. A talent like SRV's isn't normally recognized by someone 14 years old. You might have some of it... with a little practice of course :)

  • @shadowheart52 i do play i play clapton and slash stuff

  • Comment removed

  • it makes u wonder where all the talent went. im 14 and i notice

  • caught in the crossfahhhh... stevie lives on through his great music.

  • lenda viva sempre do blues

  • Today, too many people confuse instrumental skill for Musical Talent. Its not. SRV had that talent and genius. What was that said about him? When we play a note its just a note, but when Stevie played it, it had years of pain put into it (Something to that effect, correct me if you will). SRV FTW!

  • his music will run forever! rob33cinema plays the closest i ve ever heard to the great man ,have a listen , no an ad by the way truth

  • his music has become an addiction of mine. a healthy addiction.

  • badass song

  • the world was straight up robbed

  • Great song for this beautiful day ! Heading to the Innman Park Festival !!

  • R.I.P. Mr. Vaughan. Songwriter, phenominal guitarist, and soul man. Among the nranks of the Icons: Hendrix, Clapton, Townshend, and Satriani. What a shame to lose such a brilliant artist. Enticing, and full of vibe, great track, great artist.

  • dont get no better than this

  • damn wish i cud of seen him live in my lifetime unfortunately i was born the year he died. im jus glad his sound is preserved thru youtube

  • besides Stevie Ray

    live everything

    for me he was

    the second best guitar player

    after JIMMY HENDRIX

the third in their class alive

    ERIC CLAPTON

    ALL THEM ARE SPECIAL

  • sin duda hace hablar a la guitarra

  • Studio SRV is very nice, but his business was the stage.

  • amen to that last coment.................. stevie will live on in our hearts. his music will never get old

  • What a talent!!!!....He played so effortlessly.

  • that guitar solo is like the guitar is having an orgasm.

  • Comment removed

  • I may be wrong, but I don't think that you will ever see mourners like Stevie Wonder, Buddy Guy, Dr. John, Bonnie Raitt, Jackson Browne, and Nile Rodgers at anyone elses funeral. He was the greatest I've ever seen.

  • It makes me wonder how a man like this died.. Such talent, such raw ability, such intelligence.. He makes that guitar scream.. But all the bastards in the world are living their lives daily..

  • SRV, as always, is scary good! But this video was a little out there...besides the mullets everywhere...did anyone else think there was some pretty freaky images in this?...I don't remember seeing this one when it first came out.

  • A Legend Period !!!

  • FUCK YEA, most heartfull blues man EVER

  • its guys like that that made want 2 play guitar

  • If anyone carried on the spirit of Hendrix, it was Vaughn. His licks are legendary, and his songs are eternal classics. Rest in Piece good sir. And thank you for the eternal awesomness you brought in your short life.

  • Good music lot of soul not like todays music

  • @antman5000000 -it's guys like this that make me want to "quit" guitar - lol...he is magic*

  • Genius!!!

  • Yep this may his best

  • best song in my thoughs by stevie

  • You just don't see this caliber of singer and guitarist come around a lot. SRV is the best. RIP Stevie.

  • one of the greatest guitarist's of the 80's

  • Correction: One of the greatest guiatarists ever :D

  • @BryanNR Jimi Hendrix gets that award

  • Hes one of the reasons I try and appease the great man upstairs, I wanna chill With STEVIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • please lord, bring stevie back and take someone useless like kanye west, please!

  • hahahhahaha AMEN!!!!!

  • Totaly

  • but his soul is back.... just in another body. u might even know him and not know it. u might be talking to him right now, who knows. i bet he's making music too.

whenever anybody talks about an influential person that dies i just remind them of this: every soul springs from the same infinite source (call it god, the universe, w/e). we all take up different aspects of it. we all are connected to this source every second we are alive. so nobody really leaves us for we ARE all; we are infinite.

  • @alwaysstun104 Exactly

  • @alwaysstun104 Kanye West may be bad, but there is worse filth that I'd rather see purged, like say.... Soulja Boy or Flo Rida, as a 20 year old I listen to epic stuff like this and hearing names like that tossed around as if they are good artists makes me want to puke

  • @krismason123456789 as an old timer its great to see young people know the difference between art and crap

  • @TheFenderplecre

EXACTLY! My son is 15 and loves SRV ! Thanks to me playing him on my CD player in the car everyday...

  • @TheFenderplecre Same. A twelve year old right here and all I listen to is Stevie and CCR.

  • amen!

  • @alwaysstun104 hahahahaha!! good one!!

  • @alwaysstun104 made my day!!!

    lol

  • @alwaysstun104 THE LORD CALLS US WHEN HE WANTS US! I WISH HE WAS HERE TOO!I COULD THINK OF A LOT OF PPL WHO SHOULD BE GONE BUT THEN I WOULD BE PLAYING GOD AND THAT'S JUST WRONG! HE STILL LIVES ON THRU THIS MUSIC AND OUR HEARTS WHO LOVED HIM AMEN!

  • @alwaysstun104 oooooohh yeah!!!! please lord ...... give us back stevie! u see u can take lady gaga.. She/he ( i dont know his/her sex ) is so useless as kanye west =D

  • @Solidguitar1993 Too right..Our stevie was stolen from us.kanye who/?

  • @09toerag eemm... kanye west... they are some sytupid pop-rap-hip hop-i dont know what else=P band and they suck as lady gaga sucks =D GIVE US BACK STEVIEEEE LORD!!

  • thanks for posting this, seriously, if you have a problem with SRV, you have a probably have a problem with yourself

  • troppo cazzuto

è proprio vero ke i mijori sn i xmi ad andarsene ....cazzo

  • wat kind of amp does he use?

  • 22mrmusic -

Most often it was a Fender Super Reverb & Fender Vibroverb driven with two Tube Screamers. He also used a Marshall Club & Country in the real early days, and got into the Marshall Major 200 watt head around the time of Soul to Soul. Also, there was the Dumble Steel String Singer (which he called "The King Tone Colossus), and a Soldano SLO-100 around the time of In Step.

    Rock on,

    -TC4L

  • Anyone who doesn't like Stevie just don't freaking get it........

  • Legend

  • Stevie Ray Vaughan is my fucking hero, RIP Stevie Love yah man

  • Check out VooDoo Blue, almost exactly like SRV but not near as good because it's a singer and a guitarist not both in one like SRV

  • He Was One Of A Kind

    I Love you Stevie

  • this bass line is amazing makes me wanna just dance lol

  • Stevie Ray was legendary with his playing. He had the voice for blues too. Love this song, great upload

  • as far as good singing, i don't think hes that good.. but the style of music and the way he sings is rad as hell and i wish i could sing like that.

  • Like to see you play better.

  • @TopsyKretz420 that doesn't make sense.. there was nothing there about playing. I'm pretty sure it was about his singing.. i wish people would read then respond.

hes my favorite music artist always.

  • Man, I love this song. RIP Stevie.

  • One of my favorite Vaughan songs.

  • Yea also one of the best singers

  • best guitarist ever to me.

  • Not only that, but one of the best singers of all time.

    SRV R.I.P

  • dude i wen i heard this song i sat down on my bed for about a hour trying to figure it out on my bass guitar. This song is one of the best and challenging to learn on a instrument

  • "I never cry. But yesterday, when I heard the news, I sat down on my bed and cried like a little baby."--John Lee Hooker shortly after SRV's death

  • The best

  • my bad man i wasnt paying attention

  • SRV as its best the best white blues guitar player ever lived side by side with johnny winter and billy gibbons from zz top

  • good god this is like sex packaged into an easy to listen to audio format!! SRV you are a god!!! R.I.P

  • how is it that i haven't seen this music video before!?

  • When I was about as wild and wasted as a man can get and still draw breath, I heard Ray Vaughn say it: "I'm stranded, caught in the crossfire..."

Then and there I got a glimpse of what the real situation is and where the True Hope comes from. IMO Ray Vaughn jammed more plain gospel truth into these licks than any 100 so-called preachers you might care to name. Dude knew what he was talkin about because he did it all--twice--and came up clean. Praise the LORD and pass the ammunition!

  • I know most people are commenting on how Stevie's guitar lines are in here but i must say this song has a fuck'n awesome bass line.

  • in my opinion. its one of the hardest to play. and not because of the riff. that part is easy. but its hard in the fact that you have to stretch your fingers to the point of high discomfort to get the connection with each note. i almost want to start doing it on a Fender Mustang. the concept is alot of the same for EVH. thats why he uses those short scale MusicMan guitars, so he can hit those licks. but boy does Tommy Shannon and Stevie do a great job with Fenders!

  • @dhutchinson86 And tune down a half step, don't forget! :)

  • Heaven has it's finest musician. We'll always remember you SRV!

  • SVR R.I.P.

  • haha woops SRV i wasn't paying attention

  • What th'?

  • What the fuck?

  • Normally I would ask why you thought that.

But judging by your ridiculous username I wont.

I dont know what kinda speedball you've been on but Stevie breathed life into things not death

  • @JonasBrosMustDie

Yeah hes awesome. That just my dumb-ass way of saying it.
