  • do you rent you lee-enfields or have you bought yours?

  • @armedfilmmaker

Was a mixture, one of the guys in our group owns a fair few rifles but that weekend he hired out the bren gun, the majority of us hire the weapons out at events but I plan to apply for a FAC soon :)

  • @BOT101st yeah cause when i begin to do battle reenactments with my group (i am going with them to military odessey) i'm going to hire a m1 every time cause it is too expenisive at the moment for me - are you going to war and peace this year?

  • @armedfilmmaker

Ah what age are ya? Sometimes for groups max age for a battle is 16 (insurance or what not) lol but dont worry just have fun they're fun, just please research how to use the gun first :D.

Im at mil ody and war and peace this year (home of the brave for wap and queens for mil ody) so you may see me :)

  • This is a great video, nice to see some lee enfields in there :D cant wait to see your group this year

  • Very professional!

  • @JelleVD

    Why thankyou!

It's not my best work, I will probably be making a updated one in the new year! Keep you eyes open! :)

  • olny if the brits used m1 grands woulda been good for the sas

  • @usafisasome

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO... Anyways not only the SAS used m1 garands, some infantry and commandos used garands, plus we like our enfields :)

  • @BOT101st wll enfeilds were good but for urban combat caus 8 shots at a pop

  • @usafisasome

Both the Enfield and Garand prooved worthy in any kind of combat. Even though the enfield was bolt action, it had the largest mag cap (10 rounds) and had the smoothest bolt operation of any bolt action rifle of the era. M1 Garand was semi auto, but yet it still can't beat the enfield I thinks :)

  • @BOT101st enfeilds and garands 4 evr

  • @usafisasome

    Yes, yes they are :3

  • @BOT101st both are still used

  • @usafisasome

    Yes, they are, standard :)

  • Do you use blanks or rubber bullets or something?

  • @MATTNATTMATT

Blanks my dear boy. If we where to use rubber bullets you would probably be on the floor groaning a lot... not to mention probably loosing an eye or two xD

  • Sorry it dosen't matter.

  • @thebritishww2man

no no its ok, i just didnt understand

  • Why does the guy with the bren gun allways have to have no ammo?

    Just wondering.

  • @thebritishww2man

What? That doesn't make sense... Can you say it again?

  • what are u shooting each other with? and how do u join and do u need your own equipment?

  • @dudemyhommieg

We're using live rounds... a few of the guys at the battle died. It's all legal though, technically we have a license to kill...

lol, just kidding, we're firing off blank rounds. To join a reenactment group just find one locally (Like look for websites, go to military events and join up if you can), and it's best adviced to get your own kit, but some people may be kind enough and lend you some kit whilst you start buying. Good luck!

  • How I wish my bren could fire and was not deactivated.

    Excellent

  • @homefrontfriends

Don't we all! That was hired of a gun armourer... would be nice to have a live firing one in the group! However there are gaspowered ones... :D

  • Great video love the guy in the trench rehearsing his lines at the end.

  • Yeah :D, pretty awesome :P

  • once I saw the blanks being loaded into the bren mags. you could tell it was going to be good =D

  • Bet you wish you had the job of firing the bren! :D

  • Yes, sooo much... *goes and crys in corner*

  • :D, *pats buttercup on the head and hands him bren gun with LIVE ammo..." Now go kill some Neo's :D.

  • LOL!!! XD

  • Really nice!

I didnt even notice the pylons either, and what does that german shout? "something ist kaput"?

  • Yeah something like that :D That crazy german language :D

  • Haha nice video ;) With the not so authentic power lines in the background... ;)

  • I say, thanks! And I hardly noticed the power lines! Some are wooden ones which are fairly authentic, and I believe that some power lines in the war where metal ones as in the video! But cheers for the comment mate :D.
