Well, he should of mentioned that it would be best to have the warrior standing stone activated while doing this, to make leveling your smithing that much faster. Also sleeping in a bed you own increases it another 10% for a total of 30% faster. Something else to mention, you don't have to wait in each town for the leather and strips to respawn. I personally traveled to all the towns with blacksmiths, made my bracers, and by the time I traveled back they'd restocked.

Just fyi, people learn as they go along. So have a little patience for people. This is a good method, especially if you do things naturally. Kill animals, get their pelts, make leather, leather strips out of some if you want this method or all if you use the dagger method. Also, if you have the patience, Halted Stream Camp Northwest of Whiterun is an Iron Ore mine. Use the ore glitch to get an extra ingot and go to the smith and have yourself a completely free and profitable smithing experience.

@Swaggersaurus1 idk if someone actually sent u a message yet, but he increased his skill to 90 with all the leather bracers he made when u have lvl90 u can make dadric (can't spell) armor as long as u use skill points to unlock it in the lvl up screen. I personally use the same system as him but when i started i used all the pelt i had to make the leather and when i was done i went from 15 to 40 so its really easy. other problem is finding the materials to make this armor

Well I got 100 smithing at level 25-ish, I used hidden chest for some extra cash. And if your on PC, use console commands to get iron ingots and leather strips, my other character got 100 smithing in 5 minutes.

This is WAY easier than it needs to be. All you do is to buy a ton of leather and leather strips (or make it) and just constantly make the lowest tier smithing item because it gives the same amount of exp each time.

There is another way to do this that will also make you a ton of cash AND get your enchanting up as well. Make Iron daggers, which are only 1 iron and 1 leather strip. Then get you a weapon with daedra banishing on it. Disenchant it and add the enchant to the daggers you make. Its a high-end enchantment so it gives you a lot of enchanting skill and even if you just use petty soul gems on them(which are cheap to buy) the daggers still come out with a value of 500-600.
