  • drain plug!!! what drain plug?

  • who exactly gives a fuck besides the owner ?

  • It will start here in a minute, its just flooded!! Get it??

  • Next time put the plug in Before putting the craft into water. doh...

  • I think it sank because of the stupid name....

  • Epic!!! ..... music.

  • goofy look'n boat...maybe should not have saved it...

  • Comment removed

  • The music really helped me grasp the gravity of the situation

  • now you've got ten 'tales' lol.

glad it all worked out in th end

  • What a waste of a public service, good going moron

  • fiberglass 101 is your new class! or..... drain plug 101? HAHAAAHHAH nice vid!

  • Tow it out to deep water, cut the tow strap, leave.

  • thanks for letting us kno the stern was above the water you fucking idiot.

  • that's no way to treat a boat.

  • lolz theres always drama at the boat launch

  • obviously need bigger scupppers

  • 169motion is a bitch the firemen are helping what if ur boat was sinking dumb slut bitch and the person who is fliming this ur a stoker lol

  • Fire department shouldn't be wasting time like this. MORON

  • tackle... check, life jackets... check, fuel... check, right hand bung... oops

  • NSW and they ring 911???????????????????????

  • @MrAussie9999 it wouldnt be the first time some morons thought emergency is 911 as seen on stupid tv

  • Fuck this annoying music ruined this whole video for me :(

  • When the taxpayers foot the bill, who cares how much it costs?!?!

  • Tssssss...., dumbshits!

  • Such dramatic music for a leaky boat being pumped out? This boat looks like a couple guys made it in a weekend in their backyard out of plywood no wonder it sank.

  • @4thstooge the music is supposed to be a joke. I thought it fit very well for such a ridiculous situation. My concern... were for the poor 75hp motors getting swamped. Here that's about $9,000 USD worth of equipment! If they were mine believe me that music would be running in my head 24/7 until they were safe. The boat itself could sink for all I care! Yes, it was definitely on the cheap!

    haha!

  • 1:13 kayak man to the rescue

  • Comment removed

  • What a waste of time watch mouthbreathers

  • Nice neighborhood. Where did this take place?

  • so that is what the fire dept is for

  • Wench?

    Where?

    I saw no serving girls............

  • Hook the boat to the "wench". Um that won't work.

  • good informative video spoilt by utter shit music

  • like 14 monkeys fuckin a football over there lol

  • 911 what is your emergency?

yeah my boat is about to sink.

well is there anyone in the boat?

    no.. its at the dock.

    .....ill send a fire truck.

  • @JORDANROUBIQUE this is in australia you fucking shrimp

  • @TheBoxSpirit what does the location have to do with my comment?

  • @JORDANROUBIQUE Your in Australia now speak fucking english! not 911 here it's 000

  • @TheBoxSpirit uhm.... im from america... i speak english.. my bad for not knowing that its 000 in australia. prick.

  • @JORDANROUBIQUE Your good my friend. Some aussies are just a bit full of themselves.

  • @coastrunner536 thank you, thank you. i happen to be a firefighter. lol. my first comment was meant to be a joke.

  • @TheBoxSpirit How was he supposed to know that? In Canada and the United States we use 911. Calm down, ya prick

  • @Glockenator It`s the same over here, the Fire Dept also get called to sinking boats. They have a lot of gear for fuel spills in the water. Alot of people just don`t realise it.

  • @Glockenator everyone knows if they go to america you call 911 for help but if you go to another country like australia it's pretty well known to call 000

  • @TheBoxSpirit 911 Works in Australia aswell.

  • @hellraiserscookbook but goes strait to the 000 number

  • @JORDANROUBIQUE Little do you realise that the Fire Dept have gear to deal with sinking vessels.

  • @coastrunner536 i am a fire fighter. and we have a marine company at our station as needed. i meant for that to be a joke at no ones expense. so chill out bro.

  • @JORDANROUBIQUE What's so odd about that? There's a reason "Fire trucks" are called "Fire AND Rescue". They have water pumps on board which will pump out the water of a boat.

  • @JORDANROUBIQUE it's actually 000

  • ....and a bucket, and a man in a kayak

  • 381 dislikes, and i bet it's for the unnecessary music

  • @JoshWhitaker87 I bet you're right

  • Sprung a leak my ass idiot forgot the plug then put the plug in after he figured it out.

  • @BIGORANGEHUNTER You weren`t there and now your just making it up as you go along

  • No i have owned a boat for over 20 years and live by a ramp seen it 100 times. It is possible he hit something but you wouldn't ever see that boat again till they pulled it from the bottom out close to were he hit it. That boat also did not sink completely siting at the dock. How old are you and how long have you had a boat from all you comments on this video you seem to be an expert ?

  • Thats a snappy looking boat. She's got the lines of a brick.

  • 2:10. fuck your pump i can get this water out faster with my bucket!

  • need to say what a ugly ass boat

  • forgot the plug ha haaha, or "bungs" like the guy below me said. beer before boatin'; no longer floatin'

  • @abaddatom They didn`t forget the bungs. They were out at sea fishing for hours and then the boat suddenly started taking on water.

  • You sure you didn't just forget the bungs??

  • luv the tunes

  • To the people saying that is a crap boat you obviously don't like fishing cause that is a hot fishing boat.

  • Did the guy hit something in the water? Bottoms don't just fall out of boats unless they have been damaged in some way. You'll get leaks from delamination if you never do bottom maintenance, but this is a major failure. Some people don't check their bottoms well after hitting a snag, which can cause structural failure at some future outing.

  • so close yet so far

  • OMW..... useless!

  • what a shitty boat.

  • hehe great vid... the music made it entertaining.

  • back the trailer down more and full steam ahead cap'n

  • Now it's "Ten Tails"

  • Fire brigade??? dude.. starters i knew that pump useless.. just get a crane

  • No matter what country, firemen are heros!

  • i would never call the fire deptment for some thing that stupid.

    that was too funny....

  • @grizzly0112 I AGREE forget that ugly ass boat let the thing sink but save the important part lol

  • This is what happens when you have mercurys..

  • save them motors f the boat ...

  • Why dont they just drag it out with the big ass fire truck?

  • well the important thing is that they had fun!

  • Crap looking boat. Should been allowed to go down quietly while still at sea.

  • It is amazing that people would dislike this video, or spend time arguing about boat rescue technique!

    C'mon man!

    The soundtrack alone is brilliant!

Coupled with cuts and editing that leave us on the edge of our seats...

This is truly an epic video.......I love it!

  • drain plugs are such a bitch

  • Looks a like the boat is home made....

  • idoits

hook the boat to the wench on the trailer

  • @MultiJ1212 They tried that. It didnt work.

  • @MultiJ1212 Which Wench would work?

    Would the winch wench work?

  • @MultiJ1212 I'm sure the weight of the water on the craft was much too much to be able use the trailer crank to pull it onto the trailer.

  • @MultiJ1212 *Winch*. Wench is what you call a woman who works at a bar.

  • @MultiJ1212

    why what would she do

  • @MultiJ1212 Boat to the wench lol

  • @MultiJ1212

This should be the top comment. Idoit. Spare the wench!

  • @MultiJ1212

This should be the top comment. Idoit. Spare the wench!

  • @MultiJ1212 its a winch, and they should have used a snatchblock too!

  • Comment removed

  • @MultiJ1212 ...tried that, but wife didn't like being hooked up!

  • @MultiJ1212 its "winch" buckaroo.

  • @MultiJ1212 dreaming, try winching 3 tonne + boat

  • @MultiJ1212 I'm not sure a Wench would help there. What's she gonna do? (Think about it). A Winch might have been more helpful though.

  • @MultiJ1212 I didn't see a wench on the trailer. Was she in a bikini?

  • guess that boat only has 8 lives left ha ha see what I did there its a CAT lol

  • I hope he paid agood few dollars to the fire service for their help.

  • @romakayak Probably paid in good old Aussie tender.... a couple of cases of grog.

  • @tryhardparrot english? dumb fuck

  • lol at 0:45 the guy is actually trying to help lift the boat like thats gonna happen

  • save the mercs!!!

  • Dull.

  • nine tails ill remember that 1

  • im going to sink that boat when i see it waste of tax dollars wat an arsehole owner

  • all the dramatic music in the world wont make this interesting...

  • @68Squid Youre probably right. Thanks for the hit.

  • oh noooooo we all sinking .......

  • "whilst"? Is that common parlance in NSW?

  • @MrHoopler Its up there but I think "parlance" has a lot higher rating.

  • wow how dramatic......

  • Mr Hobiecat. In a perfect world boats don't leak fuel but as parts age faults occur and shit happens and we DO GET FUEL LEAKING into the waterways. We've all seen fuel leaking from sunken boats occasionally.

  • @coastrunner536 When they sink, all boats leak fuel. How much fuel escapes into the waterway is just a matter of time. Even most 25' + sailboats have fuel onboard.. which will leak when they sink.... even from fuel cans.

  • @Ebbonified Your dead right mate. I was telling Mr Hobiecat the same thing

  • Theres not that much water in it, just shows how very little water it takes to sink a catamaran. If it was a monohull of the same size its beam and length would hold that amount of water easily. But since it's a cat with very little surface area in the water it can't hold much extra weight at all. I'll stick with monohulls

  • Is it aluminium? If so a few old fellas here in Australia drowned when their aluminium catamaran fishing boat opened up at a seam and sunk really quick. When the boat was finally located and brought to the shore a surveyor found the problem. They had bolted other metal to the boat which had a bad galvanic reaction which weakened and finally broke the weld. Never put disimilar metals together on a boat, especially steel and aluminium boats. Always check carefully first for compatability

  • @chrisso011 Clearly not, if he'd built it, it would float.

  • @Newton131313 lol.

  • Did they put the bungs in?

  • @bennuballbags2 Split in hull.

  • Tilt that MOFO up!!!

  • Suprised if that little shitbox would legally be able to tow that boat

  • wow! glad i watched that.

  • ah boat ramps :) i hate people who take there boat to the ramp than to find out there motor does not work try to fix it but have no idea and hold every one up!!

  • that huge boat with 2 75s and a small size pickup idiots

  • @worldburrito45 on what planet is that a "huge" boat? settle down country boy :P

  • Comment removed

  • um, someone forget the bungs

  • Pump not big enough. Thanks tarzan.

  • @landcaster11 Thats cool.....Thanks for commenting Jane.

  • The name of the boat should be "Nine lives" not "Nine tails"

  • might have been better letting it sink

  • Big power boat is dead in the water Here comes a kayak... "hey y'all whats going on?" as he cruises in...

  • Was that a home made boat?

  • @Choperpilot2b Home modified I think.

  • @MrHobiecat Dude you have no idea what your talking about , i know for a fact as my family owns a boat yard and when ppl bring there boats in to get work done on the trailer they roll the boat of on tyres then do the work then simply use the trailer winch to winch the boat back on the trailer , its quite easy done , so dont go posting when you are the one that doesnt know what hes talking about , and yes i have had boats for years.

  • Only in NSW

  • Oh poor bastard. :(

  • I don't think that warrants rescue coming out, that is a waste of man power and tax dollars, call a recovery business.

  • @UGLandrum write it off as training

  • @UGLandrum Mabye its a good training exercise. Lessons could be learned.

That truck may be now carrying a pump that could handle the job if a real drama occurs.

    Thanks for commenting.

  • "but then a giant shark eats everyone"

  • Good old Fireys to the rescue

  • Phatbastard. It seems we may have got off on the wrong foot. I found your original comments insulting and got my back up and chose to attack back. Anyway, it seems like we`re not so different.I get annoyed when people make others unnecessarily wait at ramps. I remember a guy driving down, unloading his kayaks right on a ramp at Minamurra, then walked back to his car to get his towels and other bits and pieces, then decided to have a chat to people as we all waited with our boats. took him 5 min

  • I know the feeling. I haven`t always been blunderless at the boat ramp. My biggest blunder was caused by trying to rush because of a large line up. These include not putting fenders on and scratching my boat against a jetty, not having my bow rope out to hold as I pushed my boat of the trailer and having to go out to chest deep water to retrieve my boat. My pet hate is people that unnecessarily hold everyone up by stuffing around at boat ramps. I try not to do that but have stuffed up by rushing

  • Nine Tails looks like Boat from horror movie. If you wanna get laid get better boat .

  • I thought it was funny the music was great .

  • @08marry Really ? lol.

  • "Sorry sir, but you're going to have light it on fire or there's going to be one huge bill associated with the re-float..."

  • @MrHobiecat Well said Mr40up.

  • @MrHobiecat If the guys knew where it was leaking they would have stopped it, but unfortunately they thought it was coming in from another position.

  • i thought it was drama beats -______-

  • Drama Really?

  • i would have really like to seen that mazda pick up truck pull that water logged boat out of the water..................

  • Good point. I wouldn't think it was a first option but definitely worth considering

  • @MrHobiecat Better be careful, Mr. coatrunner might get titties in a knot and call you a boofhead, oh my!

  • The trailer IS NOT fully submerged either. It`s barely in the water.

    Give it up mate

  • When a vessel is in threat of sinking you DO call the fire Dept. The Fire department is called because there is a potential fuel leak which is classed as hazardous material. The Fire Dept are responsible to ensure that no hazardous materials enter the waterways. They also have several various types of pumps that are used to remove water from basements, cellars and yes even boats.

  • @MrHobiecat You obviously don`t know this ramp. Even with the boat beach it was still full off water. Shellharbour is a very steep ramp used for larger vessels. They had to push it back down to try and get the trailer underneath to lift it. But this is when they found that the boat was too heavy to winch out.

  • Just to correct you again Pete, it`s day time here pete. Let me know when you have something intelligent to say and I`ll look out for it. haha.

  • im out coast, have fun jackin it on youtube for the rest of the night homer. give me your best!!! looser
